DR. Khan did you notice one thing about these Indian elections: 1. Hindu -Muslim divisive rhetoric is absent. 2. Pakistan is absent from Indian elections. 3. BJP denied tickets to hate mongers and kept a safe distance from these kind of people. 4. Elections are being fought on economic, political and social issues. Has BJP moved from ultra right to center right? Has Indian public and political parties become mature enough to focus on real issues rather than emotive one's and BJP's election manifesto is witness to it.

You could be correct in saying that the present government in India has some kind of ideological compatibility with that of Israel. But, I can say with all the authority at my command that the government of India is very different in its approach and actions. I am a kashmiri and have observed keenly the happenings on ground. I have no hesitation in saying that barring certain measures that the present government has taken with regards to terror funding in Kashmir, it's approach is no different from what it's predecessor had adopted. And, this is having a salutary impact on the ground. Israel is totally different. We can't even dream of (God Forbid) doing what they do...... I fully agree with your suggestion about the need for India to do with regards to the iran-Israel war. It has excellent relations with all the parties concerned.

Dr Khan it is true that India(and other nations of SE and East Asia) have much to lose economically. In India's case there are strategic interests too. Thus given all this and friendly relations with both parties, India should try to calm the situation. Yes India had very close historical/cultural tie ups with Iran/Persia, but under (dictatorial regime) Khomeni Iran has become very reckless. It's not only giving freedom to their own women folk but also sponsoring terror in Mediterranean and Gulf region. So India could only Advise Khomeni and should keep itself at distance from dictatorial regime.
