I also use this technique but instead of using the 1 guard to start fading I go straight with the half open then half then closed just to be that tad bit faster, cuz again in this industry as we all know time is money

I’ve been doing self cuts since covid lockdown… so 3 years or so… I still find self cuts hard. Anyways, flicking out, the best way to describe would be, at the bottom of the line for eg… is where you put the most pressure, and apply less pressure as you move up. GL
