It helps too he has different clothes too, and looks more younger too. The whole retro skin re-mod for Mass Recall looks nice. Then can play Starcraft II without it for normal stuff. :L I think I played Mass Recall before, but it was a awhile ago. Hopefully sometime I can get the maps again and play it again, and use the retro re-mod for it.

Rewatching all of mass recall lol. I loved this mission. By the time all was said and done I had 6 Ffs. 2 with Sats and 4 with Nukes

I completely agree with the whole "Hicks in space" thing Jay. It's all about them learning to fly in their rust buckets, then being brutally murdered or vaporized by aliens.

This mission is very challenging on hard. The only viable strat from what I can see is to send an aerial attack against the starport on the left wall and then move in from there to take black terran's base as an expo. After that it gets pretty easy if you can hold it.

I am so glad that you are playing with the RM. I am a very big fan of it because it makes the remake look different form SC2 and it just adds to that SC1 feel. Of course, that is very nice for someone who has never played the original Starcraft.

Okay, is KZbin screwing up for me, or is anyone else having a small sound glitch at 0:05 and 0:56? EDIT: I have noticed that the music tends to be a little to loud at times; in some cutscenes, it tends to drown out the dialogue with how I've set it, I need to double-check if adjusting the music settings in the options affects it; I thought I usually played with music disabled. Whatever.

I always prefered ghosts over battlecruisers, like vulture with spider mines on bottleneck points and there is no nuke problem and lockdown is not that scary because medics and there is not that much of ghosts anyway... Not that battlecruisers scenario is hard or anything. Plus there are realy awesome cliffground without ramps, bunker+turret+siege tanks and your base is defended as hell. Would be funny if MR dev. team would make both BC's and ghosts as the most difficult level option though.

Richelle Roe I played and recorded, not on this channel though, SC 1 as my first series for me, so for me BC mission is easier than Ghosts - the most effective way on this mission is set up and mass BCs - and I even explained why :-).

Yeah, there is a model of the Beta in the game that is named "TankMorph.m3". As the name implies, it is the animation for the Beta siege tank "morph", or transformation into Siege mode. However, that's the only one I was able to find with the beta skin. The model actually named "Tank.m3" (Which you would think would be the Beta tanks, as implied by "TankMorph.m3") is the same as the "SiegeTank.m3", which is the regular model used ingame. And the same I am pretty sure goes for the sieged mode version of the tank, which I was also unable to find. So the tanks in the Retro mod, while likely based on the one in the game, I think were still had to be worked by an independent modder on at least in regard with their animations (Which don't exist, just pasting the tank morph skin does not play the attack or move animation).

Hammer's models seem...not quite there. I don't think they have the same kind of texture...style, or something, that the Terran buildings had in the first game.

I thought there was a custom adjutant model that was skin-coloured and everything...was it that bad? Also, it would be pretty interesting if the Supply Depots used a 2x3 grid space like they did in the original game...you'd barely be able to fit them, though.

You should make a new mod and change it then, it'd be cool to see other variations. The tanks used look a lot like the SC1 tanks, so I think that's better than the tooltip personally.

this question was asked at Blizzcon con 2011 awhile back and Blizzard responded by saying " the UED got there butts handed to them and that there still out there but they wont be coming back to the Koprulu sector anytime soon, maybe later down the line they might return" basically Blizzards cop out answer for saying, there not gonna use them again

@@JayborinoPlays The problem with pronouncing it "nucular" is that _nucula_ is Latin for NUT. (As in, the kind that grow on trees.) That means that squirrels are _nucula engineers,_ and _nucula fission_ is something you do on Christmas Day with a nutcracker. I will always pronounce it "nuclear" instead of "nucular", for that reason.

This is almost an 85% perfect, like almost a broodwar units with the siege tanks perfect broodwar beta skin 👍. Except duke should return as an SC2 Hyperion BC and the Tech Nuke addons maybe a little more fix there 😁. Oh almost forgot, the covert ops should not be the tech lab that should be use as the physics lab and lastly the command centers that needed to be fix too in the future patch 😅.

SkyTech RTS That seems to be exaggerating the circumstances somewhat, but the StarCraft II models do have differences to their StarCraft 1 counterparts which is why using custom models is better (especially for some units) - unfortunately at this point in time a bunch of models seem dodgy. But there's always time.

Caleb Jaaniste I disagree. Most of SC2's base models don't really look anything like SC1. It's why I always switch out the models even when they are buggy, because the basic ones are often so far off base it just boggles my mind. (Like Zerg for instance)
