I think these videos are, no exaggeration, the coolest things to have come out of this fan base. The execution is just perfect. It feels so real, and you invoking all the right feelings. I feel like I could probably find an old tape somewhere in my house from when I was a kid and it wouldn’t be too dissimilar. I already loved the early 2000s to late 90s nostalgia that OMORI would invoke sometimes, and I loved the way you capitalized and highlighted that with this. Awesome, awesome work. This is just one of those things I wish I had to skill set and creativity to do be able to pull off. I’m gonna be picking these apart and analyzing details for the next few days lol. Keep it up, really excited to see what comes next :)

I remember when I was way younger and I’d record videos similar like this, I had recorded one while visiting my aunt in Vietnam and my little high pitch child voice was honestly similar to basils lmao.. and plus I sounded as awkward and quiet as him because and even the way i’d hold the camera was near exactly the same !!

God, the mixture of 2D and 3D in these is absolutely fantastic--I also really love how awkward and natural the voice acting is, because that's 100% how 12 year olds talk when filming themselves for fun and it feels so real!! This is more of a personal thing, but I only had one or two friends growing up and the way this whole series looks and sounds just feels so comforting and homey, like the characters could have been my childhood friends too; something about the way you rendered the afternoon sunlight filtering in through the windows is SO specific and accurate to how it looks irl!! (The fact that you can hear the smile in Basil's voice when he talks about Sunny is such a cute side detail too omg) Amazing work all around!!! This is super creative and charming, please keep it up :^)

this has probably been said like a thousand times in your comments, but these videos are so well-executed. the camera shakes, the atmosphere noise, the shadows/lighting, and even the camera glitches are so spot on and realistic. i love the nostalgia it invokes as well, especially with the awkward dialogue from basil has he tries to think of interesting things to say for the recording. the voice actors are doing such an amazing job! i always love when animators combine 3d atmosphere and 2d characters-- something about it is just so charming and unique. you guys have done so well, it honestly reminds me of gorillaz music videos anyways, keep up the amazing work! I'm so excited to see what else you make in the future :D
