My little boys sleep with nursing pillows (or, as we call them, C-pillows). This big moon pillow reminds me of our C-pillows. I'm actually pretty grateful for this tutorial; I may need to replace these C-pillows someday! 🌙

Very nice! I love crescent moons! I love working with this yarn! It works up so nice! I normally go into 2 loops in the beginning chain unless I am doing a foundation chain row but with this yarn I too go into the one loop only. Not only is it easier but it gives it a nice solid base. Thanks again for another great tutorial!

Hi Monique! I made a smaller version of this using size 4 yarn (acrylic, medium weight) and a 5.50 mm hook (also known as an I or 9 in the US). You can use the same pattern :)

Can you make this with regular worsted weight yarn?
@JaydaInStitches5 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes! If you want it to be as big, you need to use 2 strands of size 4 yarn together. If you want it to be smaller, 1 strand of the size 4 yarn and a 4.50 mm or 5.00 mm hook will downsize the pattern :)

I like the pattern.... I just wish at the end while explaining how to do the second side, why not just show you finishing it then start sewing? It's just more complicated than it has to be since you can't see where to stop properly or if the counting doesn't match Also the wording for row 2 was soooo confusing. It took many replays to understand that you mean hdc 2 together since you changed the phrasing. I had to start half of the project over because of this. For anyone else that is confused: after you start row 2 and you do the slip stich then first 2hdc together, then you do another one to start the repeat.
