For the non-Filipino viewers who are still confused with some of the comments: This song, Plastic Dreams, is the last song played in Ozone Disco before it was burned to ashes and debris on March 18, 1996. There were 162 deaths and 95 non-fatal injuries. This tragedy is the worst fire case in the history of the Philippines and one of the worst in the world. That is why this song gives people goosebumps because this was the last song that the innocent victims of the fire danced too.

No fault of the artist, this is a fun tune but was connected to a disco tragedy in the Philippines. Bad things happen and people should look beyond. Jaydee is a great artist and is one of the early house music anthems. It should remind us to be all responsible and mature individuals to practice safety at clubs, both owners and guests.

JAYDEE - PLASTIC DREAMS. na maraming nagsasabi na tinutugtog daw ito habang nasusunog ang Ozone disco noong March 18, 1996. Bata pa lang ako nung mangyare un natatandaan ko. At napanood ko rin ang ilang documentaries, report sa nangyaring trahedya. Pero ang palaging binabanggit ng mga survivor is "Nagkaroon ng pag spark ng kuryente sa may dj's booth and inakala nilang "props" lang ito. At nagulat sila ng biglang lumaki ang apoy. At pagkatapos ay NAWALA NA ANG SUPPLY NG KURYENTE, at nagsimula na ang makapal na usok sa paligid na sanhi para sila ay magunahan sa pinto ng exit ng disco. -jose renen galang (isa sa mga ozone disco tradegy survivor) kung sa aking palagay din paano magagawa ng mga tao at mga nakaligtas sa loob na maalala pa ang tugtog gayong lahat sila abala na iligtas ang kanilang buhay sa naglilihab ng gusali?.. 🤔🤔🤔
