Definitely not going to be a starter. As good as he is he is not benching Mokoena and Allende. Then you have Aubbas and the few South Americans returning from loan. As good as he is was most likely to fit at pirates in terms of competition than at Sundowns

I think it’s sad that Sundowns purchased Adams when they have so much variety whilst a team like Pirates or Chiefs probably needed him more. The rotation they keep doing with Mkhulise who’s actually one of the best #8s in this country is unfair. Why not release him so that teams who need him can get him whilst he’s still in his twenties? This concept of eliminating the enemy then benching players isn’t right. Look at the likes of Lorch? 😅

The issue there is that the discussions with him only happen when he discusses his contract. Before that, it's between the clubs, then the agents. By the time it gets to him, maybe only Sundowns have an offer accepted.
