Blade Nzimande has been a member of the ANC NEC since 1994, but he only knew Guptas when it was Zuma's term, but most of us who were not even there, knows that Guptas were always around the ANC since Mandela's tenure! Here Mbeki was fascinated for meeting the Gupta mother for the first time, but Blade was in comma unfortunately: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJumZKGZiZaUfMksi=6XT4BvBTGX8f-t1z
Any politician who still speaks of state capture and refer to the Guptas is definitely a sellout and a lie and I’m glad most South Africans are now aware of this propaganda.
@MKBSpambo14 күн бұрын
Yes, the Guptas had a link with the ANC, but they did not choose government ministers under Mandela or Mbeki. Remember that when you grumble about Phalaphala and the Rubets. Zuma was controlled by the Gupta family.

Thanks Sizwe for bringing Dr Blade Nzimande. I respect him as umunt'omdala quite a smart individual with a PhD in Sociology. I remember at varsity I used to read some of his writings. But Blade betrayed the people of KwaDambuza. Fortunately, I know the place because I come from the same place. Like many other senior ANC leaders especially from the EC. I find it difficult that as a high profile within the ANC he never met Harry Gwala such a prominent in the late 80s and early 90s says a lot about him. I agree with the person who said, Adv Sikhakhane was talking about people like him. For me he self centered and he's not in it for the people. I might be wrong but that's what I've observed. I even helped in his yearly event yesterday eXmas which was coined as giving the elderly Xmas gift. But at a back of it was more around his personal profiling in my view.

I listened to Nzimande and I disagree with his assessment of the MKP. The MK was disbanded and there was no importance attached to it until JZ used the name for his party. At least JZ served as MK in his career and Nzimande did not. Zuma is not a saint at all, and I believe many of the MKP members will agree but some of us support him because he is exclusive attacked for his mistakes and reported on endlessly while others manage to have their political scandals ignored. The MKP is going away even after JZ - he has started something we can look up to and call these leaders to order with. We have contributed in getting the ANC from its outright majority, albeit fulfilling Ramaphosa's mandate on that. Lastly, I think Nzimande is either outright wrong on Ramaphosa or he's just saving his job. At the end of the day all politicians self-preserve and many of them have determined that the shorted route to that is joining the anti-JZ chorus and the real enemy is thrilled.

For 2 years you couldn't stop the fees must fall protest, the president came to you asking for resolution you said you have no budget, which means no solution. The president took the matter to his hands to avoid more destruction and unnecessary arrests. Zuma made a sound call, what more did you want him to tell you when you told him that you had no solution? 850 billion could've been saved if action were taken earlier. I see a very incompetent minister who had no resolutions for addressed issues

Many of these pple and their parents supported the apartheid regime, while others chose to endure its harshness. The women who worked for the apartheid government sent our grandmothers to be used as test subjects by the likes of Wouter Basson, who infected our grandmothers with diseas leading to infections and many never being able to have children. Ramaphosa's father was a police officer for the white government, the same government that oppressed our people. It is no surprise that the children of these apartheid apoligists are now in power. These pple, who now call themselves as icons of the struggle, actually had better lives than many black families in our townships like Mashu and Soweto. Another notable point is that most of these pple come from the farms abomkhaya referred to in our communities as izinyoni. We do not see those who suffered in the burning townships of the 70s represented in parliament. Instead, we see these izinyoni zoklova, the sellouts, in their place.

I also grew up in an underdeveloped place … washing up in a bowl of water … my parents however developed our farm … building a house bit by bit … built a bathroom planted food … bought animals and bred with it … and somehow we rose from poverty to abundance … and we today don’t have the mindset that we have been oppressed … the lesson here is to build … not moan

"..my parents however developed our FARM.." That's key. So don't try lecture people who had no land(farm) and grew up in shacks in townships while you've no idea how its like growing up there. Now Sit your privileged behind out this one

If ANC was not ill treating us as SANS, Zuma was not gonna open MKP, Zuma knew we were being abused and he took that opportunity to establish MKP. This one is being nonsensical.

I was eagerly watching this interview, Sizwe I had high hopes you would ask on the importance of splitting the Deptment of Education and forming DHET and DBE... What it meant for the intricate needs of the education system for a developing country such as South Africa. This question would also be vital in addressing some of the questions related to the issues identified, that the former minister has tried to address in this interview.

Yes something very off, he is out of touch, and even as a person who is not a Zuma fan...what he doesn't realize is, what he says about Zuma, actually makes Zuma a hero when it comes to the fees must fall issue. So he has confirmed that he was useless in helping the students and Zuma saved the day. Mxm it's sad when you see a person you considered a hero displaying such ignorance 😢

This is the same person who called learners “hooligans” for fighting for their education, same as Ramaphosa killing people in Marikana for fighting for their wellbeing

I am kinda disappointed at the level of engagement which seemed like it was scripted and sent to powers at be for approval before the sit-down. @Sizwe, why did you not even scratch the surface on Mr Nzimande's woes within the dept where he is accused of having squandered NSFAS monies? No insight of the guest on the GNU config, no searching of Nzimande's position on the strained ANC/ SACP relationship? What was the deal vele?
@sipheleledunywa23914 күн бұрын
Mr. Nzimande wanted to be consulted. Clearly would have opposed. The gains made during the fees must fall would not have been achieved even now.

i applaud msholozi for exposing sellouts without even exposing them, but by making them to expose themselves. Zuma is a master tactician. all the case and all his moves are never about anything but to expose the criminals and sellouts that are hiding in the ANC.

Politics aside, I think Prof Blade Nzibande is doing a great job and must be allowed to finish the term in this important ministry and portfolio. Indeed South Africa has capable men and women (all races, gender, ages, and backgrounds) to form a formidable team of scientific research and development to benefit the African content 🎉❤❤❤
