It’s not that “he’ll be a rookie”, he still has had the best rookie season all around. He has the 18th best defense and every other great rookie had a top 2 or 3. It’s now a matter of will Daniels be one of the greatest rookies in any sport

has alot to do with the coaching putting the right guys in the right place. the defense still gives up big plays. it also has something to do with its basically a brand new team and the team is starting to come together. that being said commanders has a real chance at winning this game.

Don’t get it twisted. Compared to other teams it’s not that great but a lot of people are drawing similarities from the Bengals Super Bowl run with Joe Burrows. I think that’s an accurate way to describe my Washington team defense.

I'm not too arrogant and thinking we're 100 percent going to win but I am confident to believe we definitely have a chance to win the game if we play without as many mistakes....... Eagles defense was fully healthy, I get that hurts was out but in the lead up to the game the defense was said by analysts and pundits alike to be the greatest Jayden Daniels has seen this year and that our college offense was going to collapse under the pressure............ Nobody.... And I mean NOBODY..... said Jayden was gonna be able to cook them up for 5 TDS....... NOBODY was saying "Jalen Hurts is gonna slice and dice this defense" so it became increasingly irritating for people to afterwards say it's ONLY bc he was out..... Sure he played a role, it's undeniable, but looking at his average stat line compared to the backup it was dead even with maybe 30 less rushing yards....... The next week those same backups came in and SMOKED their opponent, put up like 41 I believe..... They were in the high 20's by halftime...... The receivers were far happier that game and Jalen Hurts had not passed that well all season...... Why are people pretending they lost Peyton Manning? Lol I think Pickett is a better passer than Hurts.

Everyone keeps ignoring the fact that our back ups put up 3 td’s on Washington’s D and all of Jayden’s TD’s in second half came with CJ ejected! He wouldn’t have allowed at least one of those. CJ learned and it will not happen this week. We will be just fine. Lions have a great offense but no defense that’s why Washington won.
