Looks like a great piece of kit, but is it as good as the gold standard, the Keela Mk5 Belay? And for over double the price, you’d be worried snagging that on a branch

Nice if Army is issuing them otherwise I'll go for the issue or Arktis smock with waterproof liner and a duvet jacket....lot cheaper [if not free] and more adaptable....and, if in civvy colours [Arktis...grey or blue], it makes a great combo as a motorbike jacket.

So for dismounted, man pack conditions what did You use, sleeka’s, Sasquatch jacket, buffalo or something different. Which model and make did you prefer ? That does look the business if you don’t mind the weight though

Jay Jays does like a large profit margin on his gear, he produces good quality kit but his prices are greedy. Decent review though Tom.
