This took best rpg in my book from Chrono Trigger. That's how long I cared for that game. This game defines "role playing" by making the characters and environment alive, and putting you in it. I love dungeon crawlers like fallout and skyrim, but give me a amazing story any day.

After beating the game for a second time, it feels like the white cold got me. There's no game that can live up to this I haven't played so far. Any recommendations folks?

The Witcher 3 is unique for that feeling. I don't have any recommendations that come to my mind right now except The Last of Us.

I wouldn't say it's "unique". I've played throught the whole mass effect series several times and it also left a mark on me - but that's it. The Last of us is definitely on my list, but I've been a pc gamer for all my life and I really don't want to buy a PS4 just for two or three must-play titles. Gaming really took a bad turn years ago. All you can get nowadays is more of the same lootbox endgame grind shit :(

I really enjoyed the Mass Effect serie as well :). It was indeed a memorable gaming experience, in many ways. For me, the impact of ME was big but not as huge as TW3 for example. That's why I dared to say unique because TW3 was really special to me. The Last of Us can pretend to have the same impact than TW3 in my heart ^^. The feelings and the sense of emptyness after completing it were strong. That's a shame that TLOU is an exclusivity because a lot of people miss the opportunity to enjoy it. I can understand that you don't want to buy a console for just few games. I hope that someday you'll have the chance to play The Last of Us in one way or another :). I agree with you that today videogames took a bad turn with all microtransactions and stuff like that. Companies make millions with that. So gaming community are in part responsible for this. If one day, all players/consumers decide to stop buying this kind of things, things will be different. But let's face it, money rules the world.
