Jaylen Brown’s Grandfather Ultimately Convinced Him to Go into the ‘NBA Bubble’

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown originally didn't want to join the rest of the league to live in a Covid-safe "NBA bubble," and explained to Ellen that his grandfather helped make his decision to join the other players. Plus, the star discussed his The 7uice Foundation, which empowers young men and women through educational, athletic and social programs. I'm a lifelong Celtics fan and I didn't even know about Jaylen until the very day before he was drafted. It was during an appearance on Sway in the Morning where he talked about his NBA dreams, his passion for education, poetry, language and all that he planned on doing in the community. Only four short years later and already he's a bona fide superstar who's made good on every single intention. Truly one of the most remarkable human beings of his generation. His devotion to service and truth is something you just don't see in many people. I wish him the very best with whatever it is he chooses to do beyond basketball -- which undoubtedly could someday include becoming President of the United States.
