Captain hindsight. When the trade went down virtually everyone thought Giannis x Dame would be unstoppable. A lot went into it not working out as well as planned. Between Dame not working out to avoid injury while looking to be traded, his personal life, Terry Stotts not agreeing with Grifffin and leaving the team, letting Griffin go and bringing in Doc and then injuries. Giannis, Dame, Middleton, Lopez on floor together was statistically the best offense in the league. It’s just after Doc was hired, those guys only played together a handful of games. Hopefully works out better this year. Jrue seems like a genuine stand up dude tho so I’m happy for him he got another championship.
