Eh, I feel like the actor for the dad left the show or could no longer do it so they joked about it. Dan has had jokes about affairs before. The mom from Drake and Josh was always into the other weatherman and not her husband. Henry's boss from Henry Danger was super into Henry's mom and often flirted with her.

If you do the math and consider how old Sikowitz would have been when his nephew Jason was born, we can infer that Jason's parents are probably older that Erwin (it was established in cell block that Sikowitz's first name was Erwin). Edit: The above paragraph assumes that Sikowitz was telling the truth about being 34. For all we know, he may have been lying about his age.

In "The Diddly Bops" Sikowitz realized that he was holding a purse and that he does not know whose purse it is or why he is holding it. A woman walks into the classroom to take back her purse. Sikowitz calls this woman "mom." When Tori says, "That's your mom?" He says, in a voice tone that implies embarrassment, "No." We don't hear much about Sikowitz's family. I don't think Sikowitz ever mentions his father. Maybe Sikowitz has a complex relationship with his mother. Maybe he grew up without a father (that could either mean that the father is dead or that the father walked out on his a long time ago). Maybe Sikowitz blamed himself for a long time about his father abandoning him, until eventually realizing that the mother drove the father away. This is all just speculation, I have no idea.

I think it was a character choice for sikowitz to be crazy and kinda act like he's on something, it's essentially the whole purpose of the character, to created cooky, weird comedic relief. But all the creepy parts like the mouth to mouth thing and the pairing jade and tory up all the time was pretty much all part of dan schnieder's creepyness. sikowitz's character isn't horrible its dan schnider who wrote all the scenes and always did these things, he's the real creep.

out of all the characters on victorious, i feel like andre and cat (two of the most loveable) went through the most. andre lived with and took care of his mentally unstable grandmother while pursuing his dreams of being a singer and so songwriter. and cat had a constant problem with living situations, most likely had a brother who sexually assaulted her causing her to move to a childlike state to cope, not to mention also having neglectful parents while still going to a preforming arts school, and being the best singer on the show

Sikowitz is an amazing teacher and an all around great man for the most part. His bad qualities are few in number and I am guessing that he learned his lesson after the few instances in the earlier seasons where he did some bad things. In season 1 episode 2, “The Bird Scene” he hits Cat in the face with a ball. He throws that same ball at Tori to get her attention, which makes no sense as Tori points out. While this was definitely unethical, this is the only episode where he does this, so I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he realized how in the wrong he was and turned over a new leaf. Sikowitz is a cool hippie teacher. He makes it a point to teach his students important life lessons. He tells it like it is. Yes, he strikes the proper balance between firm strict teacher and cool laid back dude. When the little girl who lives next door to him constantly harasses him, he calls the cops on her and gets her sent to juvy. Despite the girl’s mother pleading him to drop the charges, he refuses. Without consequences, a person never learns their lesson for their behavior. In “Tori Gets Stuck,” when Jade tried to screw Tori over, so that Tori can’t act in a play and Jade can play Steam Boat Suzie, Sikiowitz, despite knowing that Jade is qualified for the role, refuses to reward Jade’s bad behavior. If he lets Jade have the lead role, he will instill in her the idea that messing with Tori will result in good things for her. An everyman hero like Sikiowitz cannot allow that. Sikowitz was involved in the ping pong scam. However, while the kids wanted to do something incredibly dishonest and break the law, so they could eat at a fancy restaurant, Sikowitz was trying to save Mr. Ikner’s job. His motives are far more respectable than those of the kids. Not to mention, he was initially reluctant to get involved in the ping pong scam, even mentioning the fact that what the kids were doing would run the risk of getting in legal trouble. That is what makes this decision of his an ethically questionable decision at worst. Sikowitz’s crowing achievement in the morality department was definitely in “Locked Up part 2,” when the entire gang is wrongfully incarcerated in Yerbian prison by the tyranical Chancelor and Sikowotz escapes, avoids being imprisoned, disguises himself as a guard and concocts a brilliant plan to help the kids escape.

I find it weird how there’s always adults hanging out and being friends with kids in dans shows. Before you think too hard about the coconut milk I'm like 87.5% sure that is just a joke/ metaphor for weed. Because this is a Kid/Teen show they can't put weed. Not only does the milk give him visions but you can tell his character is a hippie weed smoker type of character but like I said they're not going to put that because it's a kid/teen show. Yes they had Degrassi on teen Nick and got away with one of the characters smoking weed but that show is a Canadian show and Canadian shows are often more edgy.

In "Locked up part 2" Sikowitz left the kids with the Chancelor after Robbie accidentally killed the Chancelor's octopus. Sikowitz knew that there was no need for him to be in the room when the Chancelor flipped out and dolled out a completely over the top punishment for the death of his octopus. After avoiding being detained by the Chancelor, Sikowitz concocts a brilliant scam to help the kids escape prison. That was Sikowitz's crowing achievement.
