That's exactly the way I work at home, I'm glad to see that these methods are not completely meaningless and are working for a drummer that I look up to

Glad to hear you stress the importance of sleep. That's when the brain connects all the neurons for long-term memory. And that includes muscle-memory. Great video!

I've been saving money since the day I had your video come across my notifications saying you were giving lessons. You inspire me every single day to push through learning the songs that make me feel alive. I bought an Alesis Strike Pro SE and I'm gonna be putting up a cover of Dystopia soon. I have overcome so much since meeting you in Nashville Tennessee on the last day of the US tour. Gained so much independence and groove. I just wanted to say thank you. For the inspiration, and all the free stuff you put out for hungry drummers to build on. You're a hero. 🤘

It's amazing how far technology has come. I haven't played in years, but I hope to get back at it using the new tips and tricks one day. See you all in Nashville in May. We might follow your shows down to Florida.

Thanks for this video! I use the same approach but the stupid thing for me personally is that I can't play my own beats on the real set for ages because I made them too complicated....🤣🤣😂

Thanks for the walk though. When playing along with the pattern, how do you differentiate between the programmed kit and your electric kit sounds? Is one muted, are they the same or are they using different samples?
@JayTesseracTАй бұрын
I have the same samples playing on both - and my e-kit is louder. It’s pretty clear which is which when you’re sat down playing

How did you manage to get different colors for the rectangles (beside red) in the drum editor in Cubase?
@JayTesseracTАй бұрын
Cubase 13 - it's been like this for me forever. Might need to Google that one
@EugenDodenhoeftАй бұрын
@@JayTesseracT Found it. Under "Event Colors" the default is set to Velocity. If I change it to "Pitch" it's like in your video.
