Yo great reaction, you said he's not singing because he has to, he's singing because he wants to...wow very true dude, great way to put it.

Jeff could reach everyone, the brothers who just ever listen to rap and the teen girls who listen to Taylor Swift, no one knew what to make of him, but I did from 1994 till now, he's still just as amazing then as he is now.

Jimmy Page said in an interview that he was a perfect combination of Page and Plant. Another interesting fact is that he refers to the "Parading in a wake of sad relations As their shoes fill up with water" and when he passed he walked into a part of the Mississippi River fully clothed including shoes.

Jimmie Vaughan said his brother did that same 'Not play it the same way' vibe. Jeff Buckley was pretty amazing.

I can see you’re liking Jeff Buckley, so please have a listen to his Live at Sin-é album. Literally just him and a guitar. Amazing stuff! You can find videos of the songs on KZbin. If you want to do a reaction, try Unforgiven/Last Goodbye, or Hallelujah, but there are so many more fantastic songs on there!

Hey man, thank you for your Jeff Buckley reactions, loving your vibe and reactions to him so far. Would you please react to I Want Someone Badly? It's by Shudder to Think with Jeff on vocals - something completely different and different to the usual songs people react to from him, it showcases just a drop of Jeff's amazing versatility - Jeff could sing and play any style of music. You're gonna love it, man! And if you want to continue on with something very jazz, you will love listening/ reacting to Jolly Street by The Jazz Passengers featuring Jeff Buckley. Both are studio tracks. Peace.

With respect, I’d hold off on Jolly Street. That’s the type of song that would probably be more appreciated by only hardcore Jeff Buckley fans, looking for every scrap of material that he ever recorded. I’d personally stick to his studio/love output, and posthumous recordings, first.

@@MojoPin1983 My point was as per Jay Rah's journey. He has tapped into the jazz influences of Jeff, does not mind reacting to studio tracks and clearly appreciates music. You do not need to be a 'hardcore fan' to appreciate songs from an artist. Descriptions like 'hardcore' already put a stop on possibility. And reactions are all about possibilities. Thus, that is already a bad message and pure assumption as to what someone may like, that puts music into a tier and structure. This divides the music and listeners of music by putting a limitation or full stop on one's willingness to simply put a track on. I think that is a very shortsighted view on music and on people alone, to have. In this respect, whilst I agree that direction can be good, again, I responded to Jay Rah's reactions here. And I think it is best to not hold of on anything and just dive into whatever and whichever, especially with an artist like Jeff Buckley, because he was so formless within his form and musically free; thus, I think it is a nice approach to approach him in with same frame of mind. Music lives best and truest without these tethers and pre-requisites. Secondly, as I alluded to above, almost everyone on KZbin reacts to the same or very similar selection of Jeff Buckley songs, with the exception of very, very few. This is a pattern with many reaction channels that creates an echo chamber where nothing new from the artist is shared, discovered and loved. Whilst I appreciate what is reacted to, wholly. It's just boring and ultimately limiting to see the same songs reacted to, over and over again, whilst a plethora of musical genius from an artist like Jeff Buckley, never gets listened to. @ Jay Rah Vision Room, I say to you, dive in and react to whatever Jeff has to offer, man. "looking through every scrap of material', as @MojoPin1983 crudely put it, is exactly what I think should be the approach. It's all about opening people and oneself up to music and you will never do that if you veer people off something different to the norm. And again, it is important to be respectful of the reactors.. reactions and journey, to which my suggestions are directly based upon, therefore I think they are justified in that respect, alone. The respect goes first and foremost to the music and music does not care for prerequisites, assumptions, structures and types of listeners. Let the listener judge. Put aside firsts. Music is an ocean in which every scrap of material ever recorded exists. Wade in.

@@Ronin167 Wow, that was a very articulate, nuanced post with many excellent points. In short, what I was getting at is that I think the aforementioned material (Grace, Sketches, Live at Sin-e, etc.) is superior to rare outtakes such as Jolly Street. Obviously, that’s subjective. Personally, that song wouldn’t even come to mind if I were introducing someone to Jeff, or if I were in the mood to listen to his music. Not to say that there is anything wrong with the song, or your request, rather, I just think there are more important pieces to focus on before getting into the more esoteric experimentation/side projects. That’s just my opinion; you’re welcome to differ. I hear you regarding commonly requested songs, especially the one featured in this video. As much as I love this song, Grace, Mojo Pin, Dream Brother, and The Way Young Lovers Do are essential first listening, in my view, as they betray Jeff’s convicted singing, technical proficiency, and overall musical versatility, very well. On that note, I’ve been requesting the latter in order to show Jay a completely different side to Jeff, and his endlessly faceted musical abilities.
