It is a sad story, but one that happens over and over again. But the future is unknown. if an older husband has a stroke, perhaps his wife would spend years caring for him. I saw the show in NY right after it opened, and Loved Glamis My personal favorite version is Judi Dench in the Hey Mr Producer concert
