I think they added so much new material that it had to be downloaded in order for it to work. Perhaps there were bug fixes too. Good luck but it's worth it because imo, it's the best campaign ever.

Number one step to this call of duty modern warfare1 is to make sure that the disk is of the same region with your account... Number two is to make sure you have Activision account... Number three is after downloading the main game apart from dlc.. open the game and it will prompt you to sign in your Activision account.. After that it will start connecting online then boom you will see all your dlc.. make sure you download all..

Another thing to make easier is for you to sign in your Activision account via your mobile phone then scroll down and you will see link to your PlayStation.. make sure you link it to the same account as your disk... This method won't allow you to sign in again cos you have linked your account.. It will just ask you whether you want to activate two step then you click later.. then after it will start connecting online and then boom you will see all your dlc to download
