Honestly even deleting some files of the game and reinstalling doesn't work for some people. @@Jhomicide95 man when you copy the files open settings and find the packs of the game.. campaign pack.. multiplayer spec ops etc... i downloaded the 3 in the bottom.. i think they were campaign 1 and 2 and spec ops.. i have no problems with copy now... be sure to clean up your game disc.

I’ll definitely give this a shot. I put the disc back in the case and tossed it aside. This problem is absurd to begin with. This shouldn’t happen w a triple A developer and as big of a company as Activision.

2022, October. Purchased Call of duty Modern Warfare for £5 used. I encountered numerous problems attempting to install and play the Campaign option to the point where I almost gave up. So glad I gave it a final try after watching your videos. Clean disc. Update firmware in Safe mode. Rebuild database also in safe mode. Install all patches and game installs. Start game and refrain from pressing X until start screen appears. It took about 7 hours in total with a 500 mb per sec internet speed. A ridiculous process if I might say so, But what a great game. Hello everyone. I did not accomplish all things that Phil had listed(no shade intended). Phil absolutely helped! But here's what I did: Went into safe mode to Update System Software. I then Rebuilt Data Base. Then deleted my Modern Warfare account Save Data. The add-on then came back and copied again, but do not fear. Let it do so. Once it is done, DO NOT press X during the intro sequence. Then go to Game Installs and download the Cold War multiplayer only. Along with what ever Modern Warfare game modes you play. Then, enjoy.

Hi everyone! I fixed the "Copying Add-On" issue for now anyway. If you copy the add-on so you are able to load up Modern Warfare, while on the main menu screen click R3 I believe to access game data (it could be L3, it says in the bottom right of the screen). With the last large update, they deleted my campaign, multiplayer, and special ops. If you redownload "campaign packs 1 and 2" it should solve the issue. I have redownloaded everything though which includes multiplayer, campaign packs, special ops, graphic packs, and have not had the issue since. I also noticed that I had an issue about a week ago that reset my Modern Warfare back to version 1.00 instead of the newest version around 1.35. I put my PS4 in rest mode to download a new game without first exiting out of Modern Warefare completely from hitting the options button at the main menu PlayStation screen. When I returned, Modern Warfare had roughly a 27GB download, which was getting the game from V 1.00 to V 1.35. I have read online that it is a bug with the game that if you put the PlayStation in rest mode before completely exiting from modern warfare, it will for some reason reset it. Hope this helps anyone having either of those issues!

I had gone through a ton of videos in the last week (since the Season 4 update) trying a ton of stuff including reinstalling the games (Modern Warfare/Cold War) about 5 times and nothing ever changed, it always said missing DLC and showed all DLC installed, until I followed you step by step. you game data is saved online, the local saved data is a local cached file. You will not lose any progress etc, it works the same if you go to a friends PS4 and login to your profile, you still play with your player, with your guns, with your ranking - welcome to the online world

Thank you Phil. Great video. Clear and concise. Gave you a like. Unfortunately though it did not work for me. I'm not sure what the issue is. I deleted the game and all of the saved data. Downloaded the update file from the boot screen. Let it restart and rebuild the database. I rebuilt the database a second time. Put the game in and it downloaded everything and would repeat/loop the add-on that's 27.834gb. Tried it again 3 times to no avail. Now I'm not sure what to do. I know everyone is saying just delete the game and download the digital copy of war zone and play that until the developers come out with a fix, but I don't really play war zone. Sigh.

What really seams to work is to unplug the power cord from the back of your ps4 for a couple min, then start it back up. It seems to restart your ps4 and then downloads just fine, Worth the try 👍

I just started putting it in rest mode so my ps4 was in rest mode for about a week now and then I go to turn off my PlayStation because it wasn’t working this time and boom another glitch. Ps4 stuck on the turning ps4 off screen for about 7 hours now mihjt just slam my shit

I've a disc, after updating system software, rebuilding database, deleting the game and saved data, after I re-insert it again copies an add on. :( Idk if it's supposed to do that

Just wanted to post my experience i have been playing Apex for the past few months since warzone went to trash and noticed the MW game would start spinning while playing other games so I took the disc out. Today apex had an update so I decided to play warzone and when I put the disc it in started doing the copy add on and was stopping and restarting. I then found your video and took the game out to clean it and it was covered in fingerprints. I put the game back in and it started and finished the copy this time then the game started and I hit X and its completely fine I didn't have to do any of that safe mode stuff. So for some people it may be just wipe off the disc and thats all.

IT WORKED: Hey guys, I installed the missing campaign packs and special ops packs that I was told it needed and I also cleaned my disc just in case and finally done with the nightmare! Hope it helps.

Very nice of you to try to help everyone out. I bought the game on disc as well as in the PSN store. However, the add-ons are suspended and the in game store is currently unavailable. Tried everything, activision is not even responding properly since july with bullshit copy paste phrases that they understand my issue bla bla bla. So frustrating! Does anybody have a fix for this?

Nice video. Got 1 question. You are install/download some packs while you are in the game. My problem is , I couldnt even start up the game for downloading those packages. And after all these steps you recommend i still got the same issues, every time i want to start up the game i got the same download en the same point where it stucks..
