"The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away." - Pablo Picasso When you serve others, you will see how your life/act making impact on others and it gives you satisfaction knowing that you have been a blessing to others. Happiness is your decision, and it's intangible. Whether serving other will make you happy it's your decision, but you will feel something positive inside you once you see yourself making positive impact/contribution to others. Thank you for this video, Jay.

Bullet points -we live too much in the Ego state of mind, (egotistical vs victim mentality) -self honesty & awareness will balance Ego. -self confidence comes from serving others -stop comparing yourself to others -find meaning in what you are doing right now. We can’t always find happiness or positivity, but we can always find meaning. - don’t rush through the healing process in our life trials, we need to reflect & grow instead of repress and rush.

Many of us just notice what we are best at and other set of people who just notice what they are worst at and based on that generalise everything...Jay rightly identied that as EGO. Because of EGO we think we are the best or we are the worst..once we break this EGO of being worst, we'll be happy n stress free.

I really love your point about how life demands that we are unable to rush through a wound-healing process, that we should instead, take the time and reflect through the process instead of merely trying to dismiss or mask it, in our bid to get over with the unpleasantness. Thank you for your video, you remind us that we are always in the works and that all of us can become better individuals. Beautiful.

All of this is SO in line with living an authentic life which is about being true to ourselves which allows us to help and serve others and be "free" of the Ego. Don't let the Ego drive your life. Validate it, but then put it in the backseat while you realign yourself with who you are meant to be. Thank, Jay! Great stuff as always!

JAY...when I express my Authentic self is when those around me go out of their way to physically hurt or kill me especially my family.I've had to hide my light to just survive and now ,I'm at the point where I will rip apart those who try to destroy me because I can see what they fear most which is who i am.I 've had enough of those who want to silence me.I am willing to remove these people from my life no matter the cost.I remember my life before I incarnated in this life and have had clear vision of who I am and knowing that that body I had before I took on the human body has no decay, death or suffering.I am a type 3 Indigo who over the last 19 incarnations has accumulated so much light the people I meet hate me and want to see me fail and when I run into problems is when they express their "joy " at seeing me struggle. This is just the tip of the iceberg. What do you think?

Just read your book “Think Like A Monk”. I have never been so inspired by a book in my life. Which is saying something because I read an average of 75 books a year. I learned so much about thinking differently and to change myself, not others to make my life what it could/should be. Other books have wrote about similar subjects but not with the depth and knowledge you have. Please write another book, this one blew me away!

Oh my God, Jay is a genius! Where has he been all my life? He just gave me an Aha Moment that brought me to tears. It was this: You can't always find happiness; you can't always find positivity; but you can ALWAYS find meaning. If you lost a loved one. You can't be positive about that. But, you can find meaning in it. You can make a list of every lesson they taught you and make a plan to try and live every one of those lessons. If you're in a tough situation, don't look for positivity, look for meaning. You can't rush healing. When you cut yourself, you can't rush the healing process. You've gotta sit through that healing. We try to rush through pain in life rather than reflect through the pain. Healing is meant to be slow because it buys you time to slow down and reflect. Jay's eyes just light up when he talks about this. What is the name of this guest? He's good, too.

Hi Jay, thanks for sharing this video. I really love the saying that 'healing cannot be rushed'. Oftentimes, we put less focus on healing mentally because it is something invisible as opposed to physical wound where you can see the healing process going on. Healing inside requires time and we often forget about that.

When you will be happy that you don't care about people's opinions and I don't say never care but don't let them to control your life and if you will be the best or worst no one care you should be yourself because even some people afraid of being good personlity they think if they will be good people think that they are stupid but if you do everything for people you still can't make people love you just when you will be yourself you can be happy I alway believe that everyone is good person but they afraid to be but goodness is a fire that you can hide but you cannot turn off because your life will be dark
