Heading up to Seperation Lake Lodge at Hallie’s Camp end of July! Taking my family for the trophy walleyes, pike, and smallies! First Canada trip for me and I couldn’t be more pumped!! Any fishing advice? I’ve been in Minnesota my whole life fishing and living the day to day grind, but just wanted to know if there’s much of a difference in Canada when it comes to bait, tackle, techniques, ect. Your family is adorable. So glad you were able to stay there together. I've always dreamt of going to Hawk Lake, but the $750/night/person rate is way out of my price range. I just spent 7 nights fishing at Lost Island on Lac Seul. After cabin, gas, food, drinks, and bait we did it for $200/night/person. We like to cook our own food, so it's not a like for like comparison. We also like to bring home our limit and Hawk is catch and release only.

jay have you ever been down in northern sask? theres a little lake by my camp called mcdonald lake and has some very nice walleye ranging between (6pounds to 12) only ranging them that sized bc ive caught a 11 pound walleye there and a family member caught a 12pounder there
