la cantante se llama konoe tanima y ella no es la novia de iori, sino kikuri tanima que tampoco fue su novia, sino que kikurituvo a iori como un amor platonico y fallecio poco despues de ese concierto :(

I feel bad for Iori...I understand why he says all these harsh and dangerous words to everyone is so he wants to warn them about his curse. Now I feel even more sad that he felt guilty for not fulfilling that promise to Kikuri before she died. No wonder why he hides his feelings...all thanks to that damn Orochi curse he has. *I wish I could heal his hurting heart...he has suffered so much and he doesn't deserve to be alone.*

en el ast de la kof ,96 es así, acá revelan que la canción la compuso la novia de iori el 95, como dueto para cantarla con su propia hermana. Iori le gustaba la canción, lamentablemente su cuñada fallece, iori sabe de su maldición orochi y se retira de la banda y termina con su novia. Iori visita la tumba de vez en cuando.

@@nukerarr no. Los rumores apuntan a que Kikuri estaba enamorada de Yagami y viceversa. De hecho la canción piloto que escribió Kikuri literal hablaba dedicadamente a Iori. Y andas errado en todo. EL CD drama comienza 5 años después del fallecimiento de Kikuri y después de eso, se relatan los eventos que al parecer comienzan en el 95. Además es una coincidencia, pues 5 años después, NESTS buscaba secuestrar a Yuki, la novia de Kyo para tenerla de carnada puesto que se escapó tras los experimentos que la organización con Krizalid hicieron de él sus clones (Kyo escapó después de que K' derrotase a Kyo-1/Krizalid y Yagami se encargase de Kyo-2: CD Drama del 99), y se ve cuando Yuki aparece en el ending de Kyo/Iori del '00 y en sus diálogos de juego tras la muerte de Zero (clón). Zero antes de morir del disparo de Whip: No deberías preocuparme de tí, pues hay alguien que te espera (aparece la sombra de Yagami detrás suyo y Zero muere). Kyo: (sonriendo) ¿así que alguien, me espera? Iori: ¡Ya basta de palabrerías! (se prepara a luchar) Kyo: ¡Pues tienes razón, ya que alguien más me espera! (aparece una imagen de Yuki mientras él se poñe sus muñequeras del sol que usaba en preparatoria) Iori: ¡Entonces armémos un escándalo! (y ambos comienzan a pelear). Si Yagami en realidad "estuviese" enamorado de Konoe, de partida ni hubiese ayudado a la novia de Kyo en los eventos del '00.

It's actually so annoying with how much potential an animated KOF series or even an OVA has, like how has the storyline from the CD not being adapted?! It'd be such a great and accessible way to connect to the characters outside of the games

nop. The singer is RUMI (seiyuu from Konoe Tanima and the older sister). The rumor was that Yagami was in love with Kikuri, which does happen but on the side of his younger sister (Kikuri). The lyrics are written by Kikuri. Konoe and Iori are the interpreters since Kikuri wanted to be like his sister and because of his terminal illness, he couldn't go further.

She's not Iori's girlfriend , she is the sister of his co-worker who was the singer of the band that he played guitar with , it's true she had feelings for Iori but he didn't reciprocate , before she died she asked him to play that song she wrote but he said no 😢💔 and left for KOF . After he heared that she died , he visited her grave because he felt guilty of not fulfiling her last wish before death . I believe SNK made this story as a supportive reason for getting him to end up with Leona later , they made Kikuri looking a lot like Leona and established a sad back story for her same as him to make romance blooming easier later for a guy as badass as Iori 😂 , but too bad we got stuck in his rivalry with Kyo 🙄😑 we grew old 👴👵 and it never happened , shame on you SNK !😂

As I remember the background story mainly doesn't want Yagami to have relationship or family... What makes it more sadly is they made Yagami kill his teammate in game twice ( beauty and independent girls...bye) My boy is lonely forever because author hates him........
