Sometimes I wish KOF gained more popularity here in the west. Its old story sagas were so good (everything past the Ash saga isn’t my cup of tea), characters here have a good amount of depth to them, and not to mention, the music, too. There are a lot of fans in Latin America, but I can’t speak their language (T_T) Thank you for the translation. The lyrics really fit Kyo and Iori’s personality a lot. Kyo, while although he is hot headed, cares a lot for the people close to him, and Iori, always putting himself in seclusion.

I'd love if they made the stories of KOF more accessible whether it's through an anime series or an OVA, especially if it's adapting the CD stories that haven't been translated. Or even add more to the Ash saga that they weren't able to add, but I'm glad KOF regained its footing with KOF XV and is gaining more popularity. My pleasure! Thought it was a great opportunity to express both characters through a lyric video which hadn't been done yet, I appreciate all your interactions with the vid and the series 🙏

Iirc, there was supposed to be a KOF movie based off Destiny that takes place during ‘96, but it was canned unfortunately, and it’s really sad bc the animation is nice and it’s a good intro to the series as it takes place in the Orochi saga 😭 And omg the CD stories as well. Even if they might not be canon, we get to see what the characters are like outside of the tournament. There are some audios translated, but they’re very short, and more lighthearted lmao. Anyway, no problem! You capture both Kyo and Iori well.

@@lilpichu172 Was so bummed when finding out it got cancelled, especially when revisiting the trailer every once in a while which is so weird with out big its production was😭. Honestly I'd prefer if they didn't complicate it by going CGI and just went back to a similar style that the Maximum impact "Another day" mini series had which felt so perfect for KOF, they could even make the CD story dramas canon through that like the oppurtunity is right THERE! It's always so interesting and fun to go through the story of each character, would love to see more

There’s one called King of Fire. It’s sung by the new voice actors, and it’s very different from this. I honestly prefer Yuuhi to Tsuki.
