I like Wildes's point about Jaylen always taking the blame. I think Mazzula also gets his fair share of blame as well and I do think Tatum is awesome but it's odd how he always seems to sidestep the blame. Last year I thought Brown was clearly better in the finals and Tatum was the biggest reason they lost but like Wildes says, it always feels like the day after the story is why didn't Jaylen play better.

I agree with Wildes that Brown has become the Westbrook to Tatums Durant, he tends to shoulder most of the blame. I keep hearing about Browns bad handle and yet Tatum had more turnovers in the series than Brown. I would want to leave if i was Brown too. If I'm going to get blamed like I'm the number 1 guy then I want to go to a team where i'm the number one guy. I really like the KAT Jaylen trade, I think that would benefit both teams in theory. A Dame and Jaylen trade would also be really good. Im intrigued by Jaylen and Ja but I dont think Memphis gets better from that trade. Ja still hasn't reached his ceiling but Jaylen is close to his.

KAT is not a good fit for the C's injury prone, no defense, cant even rebound like a real big. Now i do think that Tatum gets a pass bc even if he is not making shots, he can defend at a higher level, with JB, you dont know what you're gonna get, might have a 1st qt with 15 pts and then just score 6 more points or he may defend great during first half and then the next one, Duncan Robison will look like Steph Curry. I love JB but needs more consistency

Tatum and Brown should work on their off ball movement and not on dribbling. Dribbling is fine when you are against a big guy who can't guard you, but against guys who have long reach and are smaller, they poke at that. If they played PG most of their career, it is a must to have handles. Look at pritchard or other PGs. Their biggest error was trading Rozier. He was a PG. They got nothing out ofKyre.

I’m with Wildes. I would shop Tatum and see what’s out there. Your best player is the ceiling of the team. Tatum isn’t good enough for them to win. Tatum is a really good Two that needs to be partnered with a bonafide super star (potential all time statice). I would strongly consider tradTatum for Dame and be in win now mode.

Just say you know nothing about basketball, Jesus Christ. A 2 time first team all nba player as well as 4th on the MVP ballot is by no means a second option, ever. You're absolutely delusional to think so. What Tatum needs is a ball handler, someone who sets plays, and moves the ball around. A bonafide playmaking star as his second option. He's much better when the offense is being initiated and he's off ball rather than him initiating the offense when bringing the ball up the court. I thought this was obvious. I guess only some people in the comments got a brain on them. Also Tatum for Dame? You're a 🤡.

As far as mazzula goes, bring in a new head coach and make him an assistant. He was just meant to be an interim head coach anyways so he can be the assistant coach and that’s still better than what he was before all this.

Everyone blaming Brown or tatum for their turnovers... how about get a proper point guard to run the offence. Its not rocket science . Stop trying to make everyone a point foward. Just because hes your best player doesnt mean he should be bringing the ball up .

Jaylen brown is supposed to be 1B to Tatums 1A. That’s why he gets a lot of blame. I think they both didn’t do enough to win this series because if they won a single match be of those first 3 games, we’d be talking about the Celtics in the finals right now. But brown was so off and seemed like he didn’t want any to be there while in the court and in the locker room when they’d do a breakdown and be chanting something he’s be in lala land looking at the ground. Dudes not the answer for Boston, trade him where he can be the main guy like her wants but doesn’t deserve and get a guy like dame or get a couple players at like tyrese maxeys level or so, maybe even go trade him for Mikal bridges and spencer dinwidie and nets can throw in claxton or cam Thomas and a pick. There’s so many options, just get rid of him tho.

Tatum and brown just aren’t good at playing together in a system, one’s doing something while the other nothing most of the time so they should ship one off(brown) and try to get a guy on or above their trade pieces level for a guy that plays a position more fitting: lillard and Tatum(lillard could easily improve the play making they desperately need) or Tatum and AD( Tatum could work in a pick and roll and finally start to get easy baskets and triple pump fake iso shots)

Not a Celtics fan but everybody seems to forget all the coaching shitstorm they had to deal with before even starting the regular season and to have the substitute coach, with 0 NBA coaching, taking this team to the conference finals against one of the finest playoffs coach is an overachievement in my book.. The Celtics need to improve their adjustments skills, that's the coach job, especially with such a young team.
