i am 27 years old. i was 16, about to go to prom, when i realised i didn't know how to tie a tie, when i came to your legendary video. i drank a few too many at prom, and fell into a coma for 11 years. a few minutes ago, when i finally woke up, i had to tie my shoelace to get up and leave the hospital. in a hurry to go out and experience the real world and not the cold, locked up hospital, i frantically searched 'tie a shoe' on youtube. when i saw this video i felt a strange feeling of deja vu. as soon as i saw the name and profile picture, it took me back to the night it all started. and i knew you had grown up and become a superstar.

Dear Jayson Tatum, I hope this letter finds you in great spirits. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for something that might seem trivial to some but has made a significant impact on many: your shoe-tying tutorial. Your recent tutorial on how to tie a shoe might have seemed like a small gesture, but its ripple effect has been immense. Not only did you teach a fundamental skill that many take for granted, but you did so with such warmth, humor, and authenticity that it resonated deeply with people across the globe. In a world where it's easy to get caught up in the complexities of life, your simple act of kindness and willingness to share something as basic as tying a shoe reminded us all of the importance of humility and generosity. You showed us that no matter how successful or accomplished one may be, there is always value in helping others and sharing knowledge, no matter how seemingly trivial. Your tutorial transcended the boundaries of basketball and touched the lives of countless individuals, young and old, teaching them not just how to tie a shoe, but also reminding them of the power of kindness and community. So, thank you, Jayson, for taking the time to share your wisdom and warmth with the world in such a simple yet profound way. Your gesture serves as a beautiful reminder that sometimes, it's the smallest acts of kindness that leave the biggest impact. Wishing you continued success on and off the court.

I was struggling to tie my shoe this morning and thank god I found this tutorial on KZbin to teach me. Very informative and to-the-point! I don't know who this person is but I hope him and the "Boston Celtics Basketball" team get at least 5 championships in the next few years!

I'm sure Duece loves this. I like how you do things. This video makes me anxious for your book. Seems like this and some other morning routines would be a great page turner.❤🏆💯
