Dear Jaylena, it's exactly because of you that I bought two Jackerys in the past three years. The 500 for my wifi etc and the 1000 for all the other many uses. We have regular power outages in my country and these two have helped me immensely. Moreover, I'm in the process of converting a VW Kombi Bay Window into a camper and my Jackery 1000 with its solar panel will be an important part of my van life. We actually just got the new 1000 v2 at overland expo a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely love it!! Fast charging is so nice and having the app is really nice! Still using our 500, but moving up to the 1000 v2, the older 100w solar panels and older chargers will not work without an adapter from DC7909 to DC8020. But once I made this change, this is totally our goto. It ran our IceCo dual zone fridge for over 50 hours and still had 30% power in reserve 👌👍

Good review. I just bought mine for camping. All I use is a few lamps, a radio and a small fan so I can sleep. 24 lbs is reasonable.

Finally, someone who admits they want a power station, in part, for their hair needs! I have been looking for months without the ability to come to a decision as to what to buy for my camping fridge and a blow dryer. I've had the older Jackery 1000 for about 3 years now and love it. I use it daily next to my desk to keep everything charged, dry my hair, and use my curling iron. I have no complaints. I love the Jackery V2 with the handle that folds down to the back. It's a space saver for sure. I thought about trading mine in towards the purchase of the new one, but I'm sort of attached to the one I have. Plus, it is costs more to purchase the new one with very little return on the old one that works fine. I'm thinking about it though.

You can charge it on your car battery while driving.

@@patriciahagedorn5694 It's very easy. The Jackery comes with a cable that you plug into the dedicated socket in your car/van. What we used to call for the cigarette lighter. If you buy the Jackery from the company itself, they will be able to give you all the information. Hope that helps.

I have the smaller jackery currently for charging life alert pendants phone tablet in a power outage or if I go camping but I need one like one you showed that can also handle a fan n a fridgerator on it n maybe power the charger for my power wheelchair in a outage

This is for extra items like hair dryer , coffee pot , crock pot , charging a phone or maybe for Ember to watch a video . Yes she has outlets wired to the solar / battery system but it never hurts to have a back up plan .
