I run 19t pinion and 54 tooth spur and i hit 64 mph with a fresh 5200mah 11.1 80c battery 3s of course on my slash 4x4 vxl it screams and mines 1/10 scale ims go 50 t spur and 22t pinion see if i can hit 75+

I have been experiencing the same thing with my Ovonic batteries from like 30 min of run time to like 15 min in my arrma senton. I think it's the cold weather change. Especially out here in Palm Springs a week ago it was 106 now it's like 70-80!

Senton 20t pinion. Uses more power. Its alot faster then the other 3s 15t pinion models.

@@reyb6094 cheap batteries. I used to get 15 minutes run time outta a 9000 mAh zee and 8 months later it's more like 10 minutes. My 8200 mAh SMC battery gets me 25 minutes in the same car (Felony) All the cheap brands exaggerate their numbers. I didn't really save any money buying a 4s "9000" mAh zee battery for $65 when it lasts less than half the time of my 8200 mAh 6s SMC pack that cost $120 Cheap batteries is a cutthroat market because they sell so well, but profit margins are so small, every brand inflates their capacity and especially their C rating. SMC has a great video on the subject, but the main takeaway is my Ovonic 50c pack would cause my Max 8 ESC to premature LVC all the time from voltage sag. Which means it's less than actual 35C, which is the lowest C rating compatible with the Max 8 If you car or truck is light and you don't gear up much, you can get away with budget batteries, but there is a reason people pay more for better batteries: they have a better materials chemistry, namely Lithium Cobalt Oxide (LCO) instead of LMO (lithium manganese oxide). Cheap lipos are LMO, and their characteristics are rapid capacity fading compared to LCO It's actual chemistry, and not BS, and is the exact reason why cheap lipos lose their capacity so quickly.

I have slash 4x4 stock vxl 3s with 21t pinion and 50t spur with gens ace 3s 5000mah 50c and I can barely hit 55.8 mph and I doing back to back run and motor temp is around 90+ degrees but can’t hit that 60 mark. Am I doing something wrong

@@da66er74 I'm not sure buddy i don't use the original battery hold down I use velcro straps. I'm sure you need the taller battery hold down.
