You can run a M1 36 spur and M1 32 pinion it fits with just about a 1 to 1 ratio. The vxl motor doesn't have enough juice to push it on 3s 120c 6000mah battery. Only gets to about 58mph before the motor starts getting extremely hot battery gets pretty warm to.

If You put a 76 tooth spur gear on it you'll be able to put on a bigger pinion if you wanted and The spur gear might even help on the acceleration I learned putting on a 25 tooth with 90t spur made my car acceleration really bad and as soon as I put on a 86 tooth sper the acceleration was much more acceptable and even helped with the speed motor didn't like it too much but that's to be expected But I know it will probably make it go even faster I have got a Traxxas/two-wheel and it's about maybe 10 or 11 years old same transmission and gears since day one and they're still running strong and smooth I did have to decrease the gears and put new grease on them but that's about it

Question, when I went to re-gear mine, I had a black plastic plate between the motor and mounting plate where the two flat top Allen screw screws sit on. On the plate I removed there are raised areas that prohibit left/right movement of the motor allowing a larger metal gear to be stalled. Can this plate be removed and than mount the motor directly to the fixed plate with the two black flat top Allen screws. Thx
@RCKnockout11 ай бұрын
Yeah you’ve gotta remove the plastic plate to adjust the gearing….the whole purpose of the plate is so beginners don’t have to mess with the gear mesh….but it only puts it in the exact right gear mesh position for the stock gearing….anything different it has to be removed

Ennek így nem sok értelme van. Felesleges roncsolása a váltóháznak. Áttétel táblázatban simán látható, hogy kisebb pinion és kissebb pl 76 os spur kerékkel is el lehet érni hosszú áttétel. Pl 21-90 =17-86 és még a lend tömeg is kisebb. Ráadásul a 12 t kefés motor is jobban melegszik a nagyobb terheléssel. 8.4v nál többel sincs értelme tápolni mert csak hővé alakul az energia. Terheletlenűl szépen ballonosodik a kerék. 3:4 fordulat nyitással a csúszó kuplungon.
