Agreed. She had been in the industry for years at this point after she started in the Mickey Mouse Club. Christina Aguilera was allowed to fade into obscurity with more dignity after her career was over, but Justin Timberlake always leveled up after capitalizing on past success. Kevin Federline brought her down.

@stewrobb2329
@stewrobb2329 3 жыл бұрын
It’s not the “industry” per se but her trying to do her own thing and not listening to the people who have more than a financial interest in her. I can almost guarantee it had to do with her choice in men. Why she thought getting with Federline was a good idea is beyond me, if it wasn’t for her father and conservatorship those guys she was running around with would left her broke. And the media did not help because it was obvious they were being way too intrusive.
@remo27
@remo27 3 жыл бұрын
@@stewrobb2329 Thanks for the extra info. Also it should be pointed out to those others that Britney was 22 or 23 when she married Federline. Still young, but not 16, which is when her first album was produced. And he was not much older, like 2 or 3 years, so this isn't a case of say a 50 year old marrying a 20 year old. And no, I do not suspect childhood or teenage abuse contributed to her problems. Maybe bad or lax parenting, or maybe simply being a Star for most of her life.

Honestly, her story is so sad. She was broken down over media and paparazzi. She started going down bad pathways that ultimately ended with her not having control of her own life. She seems to be doing better and will hopefully get control back soon.

Poor girl, she was a classic case of the rise and fall of a child star-turned-adult star, only she was one of the first to go through it in the internet age and got a whole lot of trash talk and grief piled on top of her other issues. Coupled with some bad decisions and a lot of people exploiting her, especially when she was at her lowest, and it was like a perfect storm. I really hope she is able to get it back together some day, even if she never performs again, just for her own sake.

Her story is so sad. When she was young she was pushed really hard to make music, but at the same time the media was tearing her down and the paparazzi were stalking her wherever she went. Eventually, it took it's toll on her and she had a very public meltdown in 2007. Her father took control of her life and finances and now she's pretty much a prisoner in her own life. I don't know why, but the court refuses to give her back control of her life. She's begged them to at least take her father out of control, but they won't. My heart breaks for her.

I saw a great documentary about him and Denniz Pop. They analysed hundreds of pop songs and developed a very precise formula for exactly how songs should sound. They would then try out and different versions in clubs to refine it to the version we become familiar with. Some songs were tried out first in cars, because they figured it would the way most people would hear them for the first time.

I am currently on a Britney dance education, slowing down the video to .25 and step by step trying to learn that beginning routine. The choreography is outstanding and difficult! Watch the Uncut version of this it’s the entire routine, and there is a video of her doing this in a rehearsal that is mind blowing. Look for the enhanced video. There are dance instructors on KZbin that teach some of it. Took me over three weeks to learn a portion of that one minute routine in the hallway at the start. She is truly an icon, so athletic and beautiful and skillful dancer. After reading her book if she wants to go a little nuts with her new freedom I understand!

She was literally the biggest star on the planet at one point, and the most powerful figure in music. Only the legends of old, like Elvis, MJ, Beatles etc had reached that level of indescribable, phenomenal, feverish popularity and notability. I guess that was part of what broke her. People loved her so much they kind of started loving to see her fail.

Very talented and still is! Brittany has been in the business since she was a very young child (part of the Mickey Mouse Club), before you know it you are surrounded by vultures and all kinds of unsavory people which can include family. She is still making some excellent tunes, please check out "Piece of Me", "Womanizer", "Work" all really good.

She started out as a sweet little Disney kid, and when this hit came out the world went gaga for Spears. Everybody was talking about her, and by necessity some were saying some highly unkind things and got down to her life... She gets a little bit into it in her song "Piece of Me" which is a great bop, and even much earlier in the classic song "Lucky". Another great one dealing with her personal crisis is "Overprotected".

Look up Brittany Spears real singing voice on KZbin and you'll REALLY hear how good she could sing! It only goes for a few minutes i think. When she was a little kid she was belting it out like no tomorrow! But from what I've read they got her to do this baby sounding voice because it would sell better.

She was a child star that transitioned into an adult pop artist.. wrong friends.. too much game all at once.. She had a meltdown and her dad took authority over her life and money. Big campaign on to Free Britney. Give her back her own control of her life. Whether she is up to that? We can only wait and see.

She should at least be evaluated for the opportunity to control her own life. If she’s not up to it, then she should be evaluated yearly. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Being proven incapable is the only thing that should be able to stand in the way of that.

@@TonyMontanaDS she was doing drugs unfortunately. And if you follow her on IG she definitely acts quite amped. Yes manic episodes can mimic that to a degree. I love Britany so I am not throwing shade here and I am distrustful of her Father however, it takes a team of people and evaluations to remove children from their Mother and award complete control of her income and assets over to another person. It isn't a thing between a judge and her Dad. Of course there are a lot of conspiracies about the famous and the shady back deals that are made that's for sure. What I find most surprising is the silence of her Mom, Sister, Brother and Kevin and they for sure were not a part of that documentary. It's a mystery and I pray for her wellness.
