She came to my town a few years ago for an outdoor event in a park. There was only a small crowd mostly of young people who didn’t know her. As soon as she started her performance I stood up to start dancing, together with a few other folks of my age. She walked from the stage and joined us in the dancing circle while singing! I loved it!! An unforgettable experience. She was so sweet and allowed me getting a selfie with her. I was in 7th heaven 🥰😍

This is Eurodance! It was a neat genre where a lot of the producers were European (many were German) but the singers were American (usually African-American) or Caribbean-European. You should check out "Mr. Vain" by Culture Beat, "More and More" by Captain Hollywood Project, "Sweet Dreams" by LaBouche, and "Run Away" and "Another Night" by Real McCoy. Those should get you started. It's one of my favorite genres. So timeless. The German sound production on these songs are just perfection...along with the exquisite vocals (that don't use auto tune).

This song was so BIG in the 90s. Snap! is a german band, and the style is typcall for 90s Eurodance: male raps in the verses, strong female vocals in the chorus and a very catchy dance hookline. Many european dance songs from the 90s had a similar style. But "Rhythm is a Dancer" belongs to the best eurodance songs from the 90s.
