NEW MERCH!!!
🚨Exclusive #FPV of Figueroa and Skid Row in Downtown LA right in the middle of the niddy griddy of the city. I just arrived after the mission gave away spaghetti and bread. Its still real depressing riding through here everytime. It was an eye opening ride and puts life into perspective.

I was born & raised in LA. I was a black kid growing up on the westside, and thought I was living in paradise (Santa Monica, Malibu, Venice, Westwood, Hollywood, etc.). Then I joined the Army and got to see some of the world (Germany, France, Spain, Holland). After the Army I went back home for a couple of years, but realized that LA was no longer the place for me. So I left. And after living in Germany for the last 30+ years, and seeing what LA has become, I'm so happy I left! Took my daughter to LA to see her grandma and to show her where I grew up. After that trip, I promised myself that I would NEVER go back again! It's just sad what LA has become. 😢

These are two entirely seperate issues. One is an issue of a lack of social progress which is solving itself slowly and one is an issue with the government choosing to do nothing in the face of rampant crime and poverty. You’re part of the problem if you think these two things correlate in any way.

Jesus Christ wants a personal realtionship with you through the Holy Spirit, not religion and blind faith. You see, we all have sinned, and have broken God’s law (The Ten Commandments). Wrong doing deserves justice and must be punished (just like how a criminal has to pay for the crime they have committed) but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ, fullness of God in flesh, to pay the penalty for us by dying on the cross and resurrecting, so that we may have everlasting life. Now for you to accept the free gift of grace, you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ and Bible says that His Blood will cover all of your sins, you will be forgiven, saved from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit, become born again, know Jesus personally and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. Turn away from sin, read the Bible, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you and change you, obey the Word. Much love and God bless you!

I wish they knew they didn’t have to do this anymore. They could make more on OF than they do out on the street. At least they could keep much more of it too. Yes, this is just one part of a very large city, and it’s not like this all over, but every neighborhood that is this bad is extremely depressing to walk through. I'm an old guy now (67) but when I was a kid visiting the larger LA area, it was like a magic place. It was unreal to be anywhere in the area and see someone that was on a TV show or maybe a movie getting gas. Wow. Who knew. As I got older and live there for a while, it was still a great place but places were going down fast. Riverside became a barrio. Not the good kind either. It got worse and worse. My family there moved to Upland and others that lived in the Valley found nicer places to live away from the cites or just left the state completely. Sad. It's such a beautiful place. Heck California was a beautiful place. But then it started to change. Started in the State House then just exploded with woke. The explosion also caused an implosion. The weight of the madness itself, fell in upon it's people. No amount of beauty could ignore it. It got so bad I'm glad I left years ago. I stopped even going back except for funerals and conferences/meetings. Most of my family has passed with only a few remaining. Cuz's have moved to Fla and East coast. Only a couple of others I'll attend funerals for unless I go first. Even our yearly conferences National meetings were no longer held there. LA and SF were always two each year and one or two elsewhere like SD, but then it all started moving to NY, FL or anywhere else but Cali. As the last of the conferences were held in LA, I would take less and less new employees because it was just not safe. I felt like a mother hen to the other staff too. Made sure they didn't do anything stupid like go sightseeing by themselves. (Yes I could do that and did). It just got dirty. No more magic. My last time there with my wife, we did a drive around to some places where I had lived and places where it was cool to go as a kid. I quickly found out those places were just full of drug addicts, open drug markets, human crap, needles and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Sure, you can go to Beverly H and see things you can't buy but even that place is not what it was. God will remember how one of his beautiful creations on a beautiful planet was destroyed by some rich politicians wanting to make deep pockets. No more magic. No more "dreams really do come true". No more

Do you really believe it was the woke's fault? Those people living the beach lifstyle were always opeminded they were always "woke" to some extent. What ruined the city it seems that it was the too many imagration and no planned strategy to absorb them into the community. It happens everywhere, cities that were known as heaven on earth and then become just a big slum after 50 years of too many people moving there believing that dream. And I dont mean it's their fault at all, people go there with dream and a will to work hard but they dont find opportunities. They were great potential for the city they could have made the city bigger and richer, but some people that were there before they just got mad that more people are coming (all prejudice againt latinos, young people, woke etc) and they prefer to not let them in, to close their eyes to those people and after decades you create a community of poverty. It's the fault of people living there when it was a good and beautiful city, they were the ones who had the power, they were the one in charge of decisions. And then, after so many years, they just abandon the city and leave and blame the immigrants when actually they were the ones to blame

You never saw someone shitting on the sidewalk. HB and even LA had a strong police presence. It was safe to walk at night. What has happened is a peculiar type of person is getting into government. These people are pro criminal. They are anti establishment. They are anti police and business. Until we go block by block with cleaning crews and garbage trucks it will never get better. I grew up in South Central, particularly in the square made by the streets of Main, Century, Central, and Imperial. Honestly, it wasn't that bad, I had a wonderful upbringing. I moved to the east side of the San Gabriel Valley in late 2019 and when I went back to visit a year later, the place had changed so much, evidently thanks to the crisis brought on by pandemic. Growing up, downtown was nice. Now I don't even want to walk on those streets. It makes me sad to see the place I once called home now turned to a dump :( I'm glad I was able to get out before the worst of it came around.

I had never been to Cali before so I took a greyhound from Denver, CO! Got off at the bus station in Los Angeles and spent the next 10 months walking to San Diego! Stayed a couple months at the motel 6 in Oceanside a few blocks from the beach! It was a blast for a while but I got bored eventually so went home and bought a motorcycle and rode down to Scottsdale, AZ! Stayed there 3 years and just came home to care for my elderly Mom! When it snows in the fall I'm buying another motorcycle and heading down to Florida! Get busy living or get busy dying!✌️✌️
