I’m SO glad that I got to see slipknot in 2015 for my first concert ever!!!!! It was the BEST show ever!!!!!!!! I just remember I was in the crowd just watching Jay play the drums through the whole show!!!!! I didn’t pay attention to anything else except for Jay!!!!!!

It probably wasn't exactly the same because I just put two drum kits together to simulate joeys huge kit but it was close enough. I got my first kit for Christmas and found the second kit at a pawn shop for $59. It was cheaper than a double pedal

Absolutely no disrespect to Joey, because clearly he was absolutely incredible, but when listening to Jay playing these songs compared to Joey, I found Joey to be very....robotic. He was like a human metronome or a human drum machine. Everything was so locked in and sharp as fuck, but I find Jay to be more dynamic and feel it gives the drums and the songs a more human feel. I don't know if anyone else would agree with me but honestly I prefer listening to the songs with Jay behind the kit. just my opinion obviously and again I still love the original records with Joey playing, but I just prefer watching Jay play them.

@@fattymatty9319I came into the world of Slipknot in 2019- that album is my absolute favorite. I know people are wanting “Iowa Heavy”, but with their age and energy- W.A.N.Y.K. was as heavy as it was going to get for “Iowa Heavy.” Nevertheless, an amazing album I could listen all the way through.
