You can tell the band still loves the fuck out of playing this song. Corey has stated it's his favorite of course, but the rest of the band still goes apeshit for it as well (Clown and Sid especially). For a song that's almost 20 years old, to still have that level of intensity and brutality playing it is impressive. You know that's when a band really loves what they do and they know they wrote a fucking awesome track. Disasterpiece is still, IMO, Slipknot's best work. Plus the energy of the newer guys is infectious as well. Jay murders the drums on this song (and it's a hard as shit song to play) and Pfaff has totally embraced his role as Tortilla Man and proved to be a worthy replacement for Fehn.

One may believe this is difficult on the drums, now I'm not saying your wrong, but Joey and Jay have both said that vol.3 has the most intricate and difficult drumming. Think about that, slipknot has some of the most difficult drumming ever, and doesnt sound right without everything else either. The guitars, the drums, the percussion drums, the vocals, the backing vocals, the turntables, the sampling and keyboards, drop one piece, and it all comes falling down. This is why this 9 piece metal band is the best band to grace the planet ever since 1999. Unreal.
