You didn't actually film the deprivated parts of Jaywick.
@relaxingwalks1186 Жыл бұрын
Definitely could have seen more but you get a decent flavour of it I feel 👍

Maybe Jaywick is on an upwards curve? I don't doubt it still has shady elements, but it's been given plenty of publicity over the years. However, there needs to be a balance retaining locals and newcomers (aka investors) because if handled wrongly it could end being a new hipster city!!

A very interesting point - Margate springs to mind as an example too.

I visited Margate 10 years ago. I'm from South Wales...I thought it was ripe for investment. Same feel about Jaywick

You missed off the worst of the residential estates but having been I also understand why.

Thanks for watching 🙏 there is definitely more to see but I feel you get a decent look at the place by walking along the seafront 👍

It’s a decent place 👍 people slate it but just needs a bit of investment. Great people 🙏 will head over to Blackpool for a video one of these days 🤩

Well it's no worse than St Neots ! Come and see a town with cars and potholes everywhere, no parking facilities but plenty of charity shops. The high street is full of boarded up shops but of course plenty of hair dressers, cash must be king ?
@relaxingwalks1186 Жыл бұрын
Very interesting, thank you - I’ll try and get there for a video at some point in the future 👍
