the way i ran!!! i like the narrative that they’re physically attracted to each other but that’s all that is going well in their relationship. the romantic in me is imagining a storyline where Bob finds something he’s passionate about and Eliza realises that her perfectionism comes from the pressure her parents put on her and she learns to be less rigid

My current headcanon is that Iggy was a wedlock baby and Eliza's parents essentially forced Bob and her to be together.

Bob and Eliza had 4 kids in my current save file. My sim actually married their oldest. We ended up adopting the two youngest because Bob and Eliza passed before they became children.

Silver dollar pancakes are just small pancakes. I think they're supposed to be the size of a silver dollar coin

Thier often on kid menus, so that the child gets pancakes. But also eggs or bacon. The idea being that they eat something better as well. Thier usually around the size of the bottom of a tea cup. Now silver dollars where never that big. But in the 50'-60's, when dinners where becoming popular. The meal was officially 1 egg, 3 silver dollar pancakes, and 1 sausage or bacon. And cost 1 silver dollar. The sliver dollar is not very popular now, though can be found. In the 90's it was about 1 dollar and 50 cents in worth. Anyway the name became popular, because of the dinners and so sliver dollar pancakes where born. 😅 now you know more than you ever cared to. Lol

My pancakes lore is that eliza and bob were highschool lovers and eliza got pregnant so they are now kinda stuck together living in Eliza's parents house. Eliza is stay at home mom despite her dreams of successful career and wealth. She still dreams of money and moving to their own house as well as having a little daughter (she is one of those people who care too much of their kids gender). Bob is working in like fast food diner as a sole earner for the family. And he is a stoner

In my save Eliza murdered Bob and married the detective assigned to his case. They had 3 kids together. Her husband cheated on her with a coworker and had 2 kids with the other woman. Eliza became addicted to benzodiazepines and died of an accidental overdose.

I love the hippie version of Bob and Eliza you made. I always replace the townies in my save with your makeovers. My sims just broke up their marriage and had twins with Bob😂

These videos are my favorite!!! They inspire me so much in cas and as a newer player (I’ve only been playing for about a year), I LOVE learning all this lore from the old games!!! I need to bite the bullet and download the *cute* eyelashes you always have for your female sims because they are beautiful! (Also excited for cc creators to have that whole category now!) Anyway, I love your voice and how calming it is and how you always inspire me with this game!!!

I've always thought most simmers didn't really understand Eliza and love to hate on her because 'she is a Karen' or whatever while forgiving Bobs faults because 'poor Bob'. NO. Poor Eliza. She was an ambitious young woman and a valedictorian with a bright future ahead... Untill she met Bob and made the mistake of marrying him too young. Now she is stuck being a housewife, cleaning all day the filth her husband makes, being a MOM for a grown adult while he is busy playing videogames and napping. And he thinks that's fair because he is the 'man who works' despite he isn't even making that much of a money or working that hard to support their family. It is normal for her to be bitter! I love playing Eliza, getting her a career and finally making her financially ABLE to leave Bob while he literally doesn't do ANYTHING (except for completing the grilled cheese sandwich aspiration😂). Now she is an independent woman running a candle making business and Bob still lives like a teen but at least no one has to smell him🎉

I just had friend over ibjust new feom the internet online he seamed fine irl though........heas a slacker like u gotta tell him everything at least 3 times u need to hurry him and ao on. Like 5 year old kid 80% of the time just thst hes an 18 year old 😅 thing is he has autisim adhd and it conflicts in a way where hes literially handycaped by it he csnt helo it not manahing to take a shower for 3 weeks and stuff like this wesring the same ahirt for 7 days i hot weather Sounds like bob? Yeh hers the thing so Noone is stuck in an marriage of ahe made a mistake she just could demivorce probaaply eliza being written off on of these " i can fix him" wifes so no not poor eliza

In build/buy mode you can find a poster of bob pancakes,it kinda looks like an ad so maybe he used to famous and smth happened that destroyed his career that turned him into who he is today

They are budget Bob and Betty newbie from the tutorial in the original sims. I still like them, but the Newbie’s were better because even though they were different from each other they still got along.

I love Eliza. She's so much fun to play with. Bob is really boring and a bit rude (which I discovered in my own gameplay, lol 😆). He really is antisocial. Eliza is so sweet and hospitable, and she loves entertaining guests. Bob is really her opposite. I don't think they belong together. Although it's fun trying to keep them together because of the gameplay drama. Bob is better off alone, and I think he'll be happier and more successful in his career. Eliza deserves the husband of her dreams. Now I want to go play with them again. I love this game. 💚 Edit: cute makeover, btw! 😊

Correction: TS4 only has *four* original families in BG, not five. The BFF household contains characters from the spinoff game of MySims, which came out in the Sims2 era...

I am aware of that, I made the short that went viral about the Mysims characters/BFF household which is where most people learnt about it ;) but they didn't appear in any previous *sims* games. Although they are from another franchise, their adaptation is original to the sims 4, we didn't see them in Ts1, 2 or 3.

@@Jaz_Sims MySims is part of Sims cannon, even if they weren't part of the main games. Like, Vincent Skullfinder, MorcuCorp, and Dr F. are all mentioned in TS3.. Also, iirc, Bob Pancakes was actually named by the fanbase. In pre-release screenshots he was monikered "pancake Bob" (because he's almost always featured eating pancakes)...

@@adrianblake8876 Difference of opinion then, not a correction. I consider them to be an original adaptation. They didn't actually appear as a household in Mysims living together, so I maintain that they are an original household for the sims. Even if based on older characters from a spinoff :)

8:02 From what I understand the household with Iggy was added when toddlers were added to the game. They do have an aged up Iggy on the gallery from the Dream Home Decorator trailer, but the household with toddler Iggy is older than that.

This is funny because on my save file Eliza died in a mysterious way and then Bob quickly had ANOTHER marriage and childs with summer holiday (wtf???) That happened randomly but now seeing this lore it makes me think he was being tired of Eliza so he secretly murdered her to be happy with a new family and a happier wife LMAO all of this is so messed up and dark but interesting. Btw my teen child's sim seemes interested in the older son of the pancakes so this is getting even spicier.

Oh my good gracious! So in my game, Bob fell hard for one of my sims, Chelsea, and they had a very steamy romance. They were coworkers at the restaurant. Bob would show up at my sims house all the time and called her at all hours. Long story short, Bob got my sim pregnant and then got Eliza pregnant shortly after. It took some messing with romance permissions and I did tweak Bobs base personality a tad but…They now all live happily together in the same house. Eliza stayed in the marriage because Bob has money now. She and my sim Chelsea both have sons. Bob changed careers and is now in business and is a Trader. He is a great dad and loves his sons very much. He also bought his family a bigger house. Eliza and Chelsea have also become very good friends. Bob still prefers to share his bed with his mistress, Chelsea. Eliza prefers her own bed. On occasion she still allows Bob in her bed. For whatever reason, it works for them and they’re one happy family!

If you pay attention to Bob room, I believe they had a child and the child passed, and that why Bob is sad. The reason their relationship had sour is because they both handle the child death differently .

i think the reason they changed skin colors so much with almost every sim depending on the decade could be because of the changing "trends" in the US society.
