I was here during this and while it was good, he was over-comping with the rest of the players, he went out of the pocket on his first solo and you could hear him miss it the third time too.

He should be pumping bass drum while he's swinging to many jazz drummer s just swing with ride and hi hat it never sounds right without bass drum,no point in adding bass drum in with toms for jazz fills he's good drummer but he's more a rock drummer trying to do jazz he needs to work on technical issues he needs to learn how to play soft gentle and change snare sound , but he's a great drummer but like everyone he has weaknesses his bass drum off beat needs more work.
