I have noticed (over the last few years watching your channel) that most, if not all of your demos show music in concert key while you transpose for trumpet. Are you doing that to accommodate all instruments in your teaching, or is that something you believe should be done by Bb players as a general rule when learning language from written sources?

Excellent question, Joe! I think it's both. Having things in concert key makes it more accessible for non-Bb instruments. But, I think it's important for Bb instruments (trumpet) to work on transposition. It was a skill set that was required for me playing in churches when I was in middle school.
