Yess i agree, i'm excited for a new album. She's had so much hate with her previous music, and her appearance (which shouldn't matter and she looks good imo anyway) I hope more people notice the talent and artistry she has, especially for her age. I've listened to her for a while and she has a lot of hidden gems that are overshadowed by her hits. I'm glad people are noticing her on this new song (along with Symptom Of Life which came out 3 days ago and is recieving praise). Her music has a very unique sound and i'm glad people are starting to notice it

Every single song ALWAYS leaves me wanting more. I want the song to continue, more, more of that song, I don’t want it to end yet. I just started really getting into Willow January of this year. Her music, her vibe & her voice are helping me get through the death of my little sister. It creates an emotion in me that I connect with, this music has become part of my healing process. I’m so grateful for the talent, the depth, the weirdness, the range, the difference in her musical approach, truly sent from the Heavens. 🕊️❤

Having the beat kind of be all over the place works SO well with what she was going for, which was putting what is essentially a mental breakdown into a song. Got me booked from the first notes she sang❤

I've listened to The Grudge by Tool religiously. When I first heard this song i was immediately hooked by the time signature. She transitions from 5/8(5/4) into 12/8 back and forth. Her verses being in 5/8 and the chorus being in 12/8. This is something TOOL does and I've been waiting for so long for a pop artist to get into odd meters to be able to enjoy the genre again. Thank you Willow and i give a huge well done to her. The only thing i dislike about this song is that its way too short.

I know I'm a little late to the game here, but if I may offer another point of view of how this tune is meter'd out and subdivided I feel like you could perceive the song completely in 4/4. Her verses are subdivided into quintuplets while the part at 3:34, the drums are subdivided back into 8ths while the guitar is outlining that quintuplet feel (on the first and third partial of the quintuplet of every beat). The last half of that section is still in 4/4 but subdivided into 8th note triplets.

I've really been lovin her journey through the music industry and watching her grow into her own style without the fear of experimenting different types of sound. I think she's highly underrated but at the same time excited people are starting to really notice her talent.. her collabs with other artists are pretty dope too. In the last few weeks I can't seem to get enough of her other song Symptoms Of Life aswell.

It's jarring because it's in the 3/4 time signature at a fast tempo....That's a rarity by itself. Then the tempo slows down on the chorus and speeds back up for the verse again. Jazz inspired chords and that Billie Eilish inspired vocal. Then she goes full rock at the end. I love the tension this all provides especially when you listen to the lyrics.
