Simply.. A feel good song 💜 . While it is trrue that its in the BE album but a trivia is that Suga wrote this song 3-4yrs ago before its release (since he writes a lot) but only released it now since during the production of the album, he went back to old songs he wrote and found this timely to be part of the album which they all were heavily involved from the lyrics to the concept of the actual album itself. Suga said he believes anything he writes has its own time to be brought to the world and the timing of BE is just amazing. 💜

It’s one of my favorite things BTS does in their music! I remember when I first noticed that they do it regularly. It keeps the music interesting and is just a flex for the vocalists to show that they can all sing anything with their incredible skills and vocal ranges.

@@bee12117 well of course the other members collab when writing these songs, but Suga mostly wrote it. He produced and even kept demos for it as proven in the BE interviews. In Suga’s interview, he was mostly asked about Telepathy (just like JK with Stay and V with Blue & Grey. The other members helped with those songs and are credited, but but they created the central parts of the song) I never said Suga was the only credited person, but he was a central part in the creation of Telepathy.

I remember listening to Telepathy when BE was released and immediately loving the feel of the song. Then of course came the lyrics, which remind me of a friend checking up on you and reminding you that they miss you and hope you're doing well. I'm not sure if anyone has pointed out but during several PTD concerts Namjoon also changed the lyrics form "Can I be your Bibilly Hills" to "I want to be your Bibilly Hills." Always the sweet talker!! 😂

So the Gucci Creative Director is really into incorporating pop culture into the brand lines. I loved this song from the moment BE came out! It definitely provided me comfort throughout the pandemic. The icing on the cake was hearing it live in concert when they were on the carts and sharing that memory with other Army! It made the lyrics so much more meaningful and genuine!

I absolutely vibe with this song. It’s such a great groove. It’s interesting to hear both versions because they sound so different because of Suga’s production. The studio version gives me almost an electronica 90’s disco vibe and a lot is the reverb and audio tune. But when live or in the MTV version it takes on a very summery, beachy vibe. Almost ska-like. Rumor goes that Suga had been sitting on this melody/best for awhile and didn’t like it or couldn’t figure out what to do with it but JK and I think jimin heard it and loved it. They encouraged him to finish it with JK making contributions and RM adding his rap and you have one of their best non-hit songs if you will. Really dig this song. A feel good breezy song.

Okay, here we go for the a bit longer comment... Caitlin "Bring it on" 👀 umm.... i don't think i can say anything good regarding the "feed the YT algorithm" clip this time... 🐶 I wrote this on discord already, but: Caitlin detective is on point with her lyrics analysis already straight from the beginning of the song! 👏 👏 👏 And Andrew was really hooked by all the different sound effects, with the chimes, the glissando, the up-beat phrase endings, ... perfect combo you two, truly 😁 ohhh i never thought of Telepathy as a Country version 🤔, but yeah 🤩 I love how you both just got sucked into the song and the live performance, and almost forgot the "reaction" part again there for a bit, just happily vibing along 😄 Also, i'm cracking up at Caitlin's "Jimin can not help how beautiful he is", because yes 😌🙌 They definitely know how to act with the cameras. I think in the very beginning, they also commented on that how they were not yet quite so good at finding the cameras, but they certainly learned that over the years. I find it so funny how the second half of the live performance watching turned into an easter-egg-hunt almost, with all the Donald Duck and BE references 🤣 I saw somebody mentioning Namjoon creating DTS (ducktan sonyeondan) and showing them off on twitter, and these outfits were also part of some high-end designer collab (other people are much more up-to-date with fashion stuff than me, though) Ah, at 15:47 hobi tends to change the note there in live performances compared to the recording. This time here it isn't so apparent because the live vocal is dominant. But in cases where they have some backing track, the live note change ends up harmonizing nicely with the backing 👍 I was very happy just vibing along with you two for this one, thank you 💜 🥕 CFA

And he's the only one that consistently goes down instead of up on that one note, creating a lower third harmony to the backing/recording. In this MTV performance it doesn't jump out as much because there is barely any backing track, though.

I was checking, but it seems the BTS focus cam doesn't exist anymore in bangtantv, but I remember watching it O_o The thing with MTV (or other performances): if you head to BangtanTV, they have then several versions (as with Fix You, Dynamite, etc) that say "XXX member/s focus" and "BTS focus". These are more... raw in sound but since they are "bangtan bombs" you could watch with no blur or possible claim/strike ;) This is such a feel good song, in Korean the name is "Jamsi" = for a moment ^^, so it does its magic "for a moment, let's be somewhere else, someone else..." ^^
