Great video Ryan! Thank you for doing it and the shout out. Man that clean Mobley's Message is 🔥 I'm so happy you have found it. Yeah almost anything by Alice Coltrane is a masterpiece. Eternity is amazing and, of course, Ptah is legendary. So happy you have selected her works for that question. I sincerely hope you feel better soon and to see you back here. 👋

Thanks for the video. I learn so much from you and look forward to each episode. My tinnitus was linked to an allergy toward dairy. I hope you figure out your cause soon.

I had an inner ear infection in my early 20's and it messed with my stomach, gave me a headache, clogged up my neck, and made me feel dizzy and it lasted for months! I don't remember it affecting my hearing but I'm sure it did at one point. I once had Willie's Stardust but let it go. I have the double 2 cd essential as it covers his whole career but sums up his early 80's period well when he was at his commercial peak. The double cd of Sonny Rollins at Village Vanguard has the content of 2 Lps plus bonus cuts. Piano-less trio! Mulligan and Baker went without piano for some of their sessions as well. Interesting dynamic!

Happy New Year 2024..and a great selection you have there. I added quite a few Connie Francis gems in 2023 that i was searching for 'centuries' a 1969 Spain release CANTA EN Y EN ESPANOL VOL 2 ,I'm looking for Vol 3 + 4 now, and a Netherlands release. In Dec i got an EP cover only from Italy, her last one there. Keep listening but at a lower volume, just be careful.

If you do find jazz, it may be under priced but owners are catchin' on.

Hi great video. i had tinnitus for months a few years back it was caused from grinding my teeth so maybe its related to your teeth or jaw. When i was a kid i had to wear a gum shield when i went to bed because i would grind them in my sleep.

Great tag, Ryan! Sorry to hear about your continued health problems, I hope you find a solution soon! Would love to find Lee Morgan Vol. 3, that is excellent VCLT! Live at Birdland Promo is a heavy find and that was one of the early Coltrane’s I picked up and still one of my favorites, just like you!

Sorry to hear you've not been well, Ryan. The scan's a good idea; here's hoping you'll get well soon. As for the LPs you show, they always make me want to buy something because they all look so good. I have a large backlog of LPs I haven't played, so I can't justify buying more now (but we'll see). I have the "Art Pepper + Eleven" and remember liking it (haven't played it in a while). Even things you show that I don't have or wouldn't know about are interesting enough to buy despite my unfamiliarity with them. Hang in there, and as you feel better, you can get into the videos more if you choose. Stay well!

Hey man, hope you start to feel better soon! I’m sorry you’re having to deal with that right now, but hopefully the VC helps you feel better even if just a little bit haha. As always, such awesome finds! Every now and then I find some old Down Beat articles attached to albums and I always think it’s so cool. Really makes you think about how old these albums we like to collect are and the history behind them. Cheers, Ryan! Feel free to reach out if you need anything, man.

Hey Ryan -- Sorry you haven't been feeling well, but I'm glad you're at least feeling up to facing the camera now. As you probably know, your inner ear and your sense of balance are closely connected, so you may just have a minor infection of some kind. There's a lot going around this winter. And I know how difficult it is to get medical appointments, post-pandemic. (I can barely see out of my right eye, which makes driving at night a real problem, because I need post-cataract follow-up surgery... and I can't even get in to "see" anyone for my pre-op screening appointment until the end of March!) Anyway, I hope you can enjoy music in the meantime. When I was in the hospital a few years back, Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk, Allen Toussaint ("American Tunes!") and Randy Newman were the best medicines I received. OK, now back to your list...
