Jazza, I recently suffered a stroke and have lost the ability to draw with my right had. It has been torture not being able to draw. You've inspired me to give the effort to create art with my left hand. I'm working on getting the right to work again, but it may take a long time to get it back to normal again so to be able to create art again will be a godsend. Thank you so much for creating the video. The drawings looked really good. Max was my favorite of the two.

Dear Jazza. I truly love watchin you draw. Your attempt at left handed drawing is wonderful. As i have a teacher here in jacksonville fl. that is actually my second best art teacher ever. He did something while i was in his drawing class and he challenged me to draw with my left hand and i am like you severe right hand dominate. And when William challenged me to draw with my right hand. He kinda dared me to.. And well i sat down that very class and drew something with my left hand and it wasnt that bad. Your work is actually wonderful. I bought myself a sketch book and i filled it up with nothing but left handed drawings. And quite frankly i got very good at it.. I actually belive if i really kept up with it i can draw better with my left hand than my right.. Just keep doing it. Its really fun and it will also have some unforeseen benefits. It will calm you down very quickly and your breathing will slow and you will actually be in a type of meditation. I love doing it. REALLY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS :) THANKS FOR BEING HERE AND YOU :)

The dog reminded me of my own painting. When I was in primary school I drew a nice looking line art dog. But then I started coloring it and got the same result Jazza did, with the single tone shading. But back then I didn't know how to fix it

It's possible that you're gripping the pen too tight. That can cause your hand to be shaky and unsteady which can make your lines look awful. Make your grip firm enough so the pen doesn't slip out but not do firm you're squeezing it. Another tip is to use your arm rather than just your wrist. This gives you more direction and control letting you make cleaner lines. Your wrist joints have a weird way of pivoting which would negatively affect your art. Finally, draw what you want with a very light pencil at first so you can get an idea of what you're drawing and fix things you done like before adding color and line. If you go straight to things you can't erase, you're bound to make mistakes, and if you don't like something, you can't erase it. To summarize, relax your grip, use your arm, and have a plan.
