Interesting, this horn was originally marketed as classical/orchestral one. And JM1 as Jazz-oriented.

This was one of the best videos I have seen from ACB. I liked the fact that you included some personal drawbacks you have with this instrument. That is very informative to me as a player. It helps. Why? Because your drawbacks might be the exact thing the next guy wants and is looking for in a trumpet. You play an instrument as your main horn with a main mouthpiece for a reason and we would like to hear why you are not playing another instrument or mouthiece as your main set up. In my opinion, it is not downgrading the model or the instrument, but you giving personal feeling about the instrument and your preferences that give the next player valuable information to make a solid decision in their trumpet choice. I loved that you included that personal bit in this video. I actaully can name people I know who would prefer this instrument over all the other instrumets you have featured here. They will be getting links from me to this video. Great job. Great information, Great sound. Oh and one more thing. Those drawbacks you think we can hear in your playing rarely come out in the video. They are too subtle for us the listener to pick up on in a KZbin video. Sitting in the room, we might here it, but not here. Thank you again for another great video.

I still love my 50 year old well played and worn Benge and I also love my 1950s vintage Martin Committee C Trumpet that is just wonderful to play. There are some good modern horns being produced by a few really dedicated craftsmen but with the boutique price levels these days, a fine vintage horn can be an incredible horn if the price is right of course. That being said, a few contemporary trumpets out on the market are really interesting and wonderfully designed and crafted instruments even an old player like myself would certainly enjoy playing. Great honest comments and analysis of your critique of this and all your presentations and reviews. Thanks.

@@austincustom I have a Super Recording now, which articulates like magic. I want to complement it (like you say in the JM2 listing) with a lush gorgeous horn, with a price that realistically matches my abilities, and is also brand new. That is another complement. I'm slowly fixing up a 1938 Martin HCI 2-bore to sell.
