@AssassinKillua154 жыл бұрын
The main reason Prince was so hard on mainstream pop stars was because they were doing way less and getting all of that success meanwhile he plays multiple instruments and actually creates his music. Prince could play way over 10+ instruments. That's what being a real musician and artist is. He didn't just play guitar. Prince played bass, piano, drums, various percussion instruments. He was the real deal and he hated how cooperate and easy becoming an artist was getting. Even in 2020 he'd have way more to say on the state of music because even from 2016 things have changed. Nowadays you just have to be passable at playing a single instrument to gain success. It has to be pretty annoying to spend your time trying to perfect your instrument playing abilities and perfecting your music making abilities to only get flushed out by people who have others write everything for them. Prince definitely had his success, but he deserved more.

If you are an aspiring musician/artist I highly recommend digging into all of his work and find as much inspiration as you can. The man was a genius. Just check out Creep live at coachella Or " shhh " live in paris " the ride " live in Vegas " the question of you " live tokyo Watch him as he is on stage hand signing to his band members when to transition. I don't think anyone compares to Michael, because there was something about Michael that wasn't like any other never seen before, it was the magic in him and reason why when he would go anywhere there would be a sea of people just trying to get a glance or be in the same proximity of his ora, exactly there's so many statues and monuments of him around the world. He was just otherworldly, even with his music it wouldn't just be about sex and women it was like he would take you to different dimensions, worlds, time periods with his songs and short films. Thats what Moonwalker essentially was him in different worlds. His most music is timeless it doesn't age because it was nothing like it. With Prince he reminds me more of a Rick James, James Brown I don't see any comparison to Michael Jackson except age, and similar looks. We may possibly see another person as great as Prince, but Michael comes once in a lifetime his impact around the world will NEVER be seen again, he didn't just connect with musicians he connected with the people of the world in a way that's unexplained, his empathetic spirit, helping the sick, the homeless, children, animals, the environment. Literally trying to heal the planet was just something from a different realm.
