Jeff checks out some fascinating gravesites in Turlock, California, including Sherin Kuloo who lived to be 118 years old; and Charles Milhous, first cousin of President Richard Nixon.
He will also show you the graves of two Turlock Police officers who died in a 1949 car crash with their police badges on their markers.
He will also visit John Mitchell's grave and explain how he was a wealthy landowner.
Other graves contain American war heroes.

My father was a CHP officer way back in the San Joaquin Valley. He experienced the severe fog conditions. One night he actually sat on the hood of the patrol car and guided his partner through the fog bank. When they came out into a clearing they counted over 100 cars who had followed them! Slow down and crack your windows open so you can hear other cars approaching. Also a side note his mother lived to 106!

Once, many years ago, my wife and i came upon a large grave yard in CA. and of the 30-40 graves; 20-30 were children. Mostly before the age of five. I still sometimes think about them, their mom, dad, and siblings and the grief they must have had to endure. This grave yard was long ago forgotten and was only a few miles from another one that is quite well known. Anyway.....nice work on the history, Jeff. Can hardly believe 118 years. Wow!

Very much enjoy your trip through history. Thanks for the effort and excellent information. I just visited Nixon Presidential Library and childhood home in Yorba Linda. It was a fair look at Nixon's life, accomplishments, and his dark side. Very well presented. I visited for 5 hours and could have stayed longer. Thanks again.

Amazing to see how many are blessed to live that long. My husbands mother passed this year just sly a month of living to be 106 - my in-laws had 11 children .

That is awesome! Even more amazing when you consider that having children takes a toll on a woman’s body.

This is my third video and found it to be thought provoking and humbling. I look forward to watching more. Parting shot: Way before I joined the Historical Society in San Bernardino, I would visit our cemetaries just to read the headstones but never told anyone cuz I worried people would think I had a screw loose. Nowadays it's cool.
