This is super late. But if you want a quick fix, you can cut out the old speaker and use that bracket under the new speaker. or they sell adapters on amazon

You know tsx rear deck speakers are low frequency only? no highs no mids just lows. that's why im having trouble to finding speakers

Yes I did know, its because those are just imtended for bass, the only fix that ive found was installing a lineouput inverter so that might make all the difference

@@oscar_cu2 yeah I currently bypassed mine completely to just run 10s instead of 6x9s soon tho I will replace 6x9s with amp and full signal output

Could you dumb it down what you guys did for the rear deck speakers I was told I could splice in series to the rear door speakers to make 6x9 work in the back rear deck

@@lalocTdot the 6×9's are connected to the back through the original wires so those work on their own, we tap into those wires with a converter for a subwoofer however, but yours dont work at all i would check to see if the speakers are dead by testing them on another car or by checking for power from the speaker wires

I think the bose door speakers are already good, the difficult task about the door speakers would be the dimensions of theyre too thick they simply will not fit, popping off the door cards is pretty simple though

I had to drill holes and I rewire the wires so it would be able to work. It was pretty easy

I have an Acura TSX 07 I try to install speaker on rear deck but actually it have some kind of sub and I want to install speaker not sub

What do you mean by sub? If your stereo is stock they could have taken the wire signal into a little box for an amplifire and didnt connect the wires back, if you have power to the wires everything should work but if you dont who ever installed the sub may have ruined some wiring

You have a short somewhere. Check your speaker terminals. My speaker terminals were touching the metal on the door and caused all the rear sound to shut down.

Speakers can go out, but if the speakers are new, they should make sound even static, try a light tester to see if youre getting power to the speaker wires then if you do have power theres no reason.for it not to have sound, but if there is power and no sound thats a signal issue which youd have to do a wiring diagram, do you have an aftermarket stereo? If wires were chopped up they could just be disconnected or done improperly, there are several reasons but you should give the light tester a try
