thanks for the video! very helpful! but i dont have a black and red wire at all on the back for the blue light did you ever get thast hooked up? and on mine i had to buy the backup cam separately , and even after all the connectors are plugged in theres 2 that are unused on the back . any idea what those are for?

Is it the same model that I have or slightly different? I still haven't got that hooked up. I honestly forgotten about it. I did buy the back up camera separately as well. The extra video inputs are for front camera and video input for a DVD player or gaming console, anything to watch on your indash.

It's still in the TSX. Loving it daily. Doubt I'll go back to stock. Yeah, climate control is in the tablet. Special icon to press and the climate control menu pops up. I got this one off of eBay. Same as Amazon.

Its good quality, just my radio is picking up some interference idk where so it causes some static on the video when in reverse. Infrared and its pretty good at night. I have some bright L.E.D. reverse lights so I can see great at night.

So the temp uses Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. I changed the setting but A/c control still reads C. Do you know where I csn get a software update/patch to fix this? Thank you.

I did the same thing and it still was in Celsius and it never reads the correct temperature. Unfortunately, I don't even know how to update it. No information came with itz I can't even get in touch with the seller anymore 😞

I did not solder anything. Not sure which one it is. No paper work came with the item.

@@Yhappp that is correct. I haven't been able to connect the little blue light. I don't mind it not being connected at the moment. Yes my air controls work. Only issue I have is a whining noise

Was every thing just unplug and plug in or is there more to the wireing?

It is all plug in and play. Only things that have to be transfered is the vents and blue light. The blue light has to be wired. Simple. Two wires.

Yeah. Just have to program it. Very simple to do.

I do not see the controls for the air conditioning. What was your solution for that?

On the top left. There is a little snowflake icon. Tap that and it pops up the air conditioning screen.

Yes. I do not know exactly what the plug is for at the moment but I do know the outside temperature on my dash is not working and my OEM clock no longer is working so it may have to do with that. All that is in the touch screen radio now so I'm sure it was meant to be like that. Hopefully that can help you.

My man I’d put that in over making a kit again it wasn’t super hard but not only having to cut the factory bezel u had to take the aftermarket unit apart to and order a ribbon cable that has to be extended so yea I like it

Unfortunately no. But it was easy. Signal from reverse light and video input. Just running the wires on the passenger side.

It should work. I'm not entirely too sure. Most of the TSX that have upgrade radios were without the back that I know of.

So i had a different In Dash aftermarket double din stereo and I just installed this one but now my rear view camera is not working? I tried plugging in the yellow male plug to all the different yellow plugs and nothing. I know the wiring is all good because of my previous in dash was working fine, where exactly do i connect the camera plug on the back of this aftermarket stereo??

Its one of the small white block connections. I think 2 or 3 pin. Separate from the big main harness.

What's your biggest complaint about this radio

I accidentally hit the "delete repeat contacts" and now it deletes all my contacts on my phone when I connect it via Wi-Fi hotspot. Other than that, the Bluetooth does some small cut outs here and there but not all the time. I haven't fully gone into the tablet radio. Main use is the Bluetooth radio/phone and reverse camera.

That is a good question. I have yet to see anyone with a Navigation install this style of radio.

@@OutdoorOkie sounds like a plan. Suggest recording it and uploading it for others. Wasn't too hard honestly. Just have to be careful not to break anything lol. But pretty straightforward. All the connections only have one way / plug it can go to.

Has anyone tried to go from Navi to non Navigation... I have an 08 Tsx with the android after marker radio.. its been giving me problems so want to go back to stock.. I no longer have the oem navigation system (should of kept it) but never really cared for the navigation system I like this style better. Anyone can direct me on if this is possible. The harness that came with the radio. Everything still works that I know of. It was all plug and play.

Hey I've had this radio for about 3 years now.. first year was great then suddenly the screen turned off one day. Turns on randomly for a couple seconds .. (enough to find the climate control 🙄) but now for several months the screen won't turn on at all. I can still hear the radio and kind of guess wear the climate button is on the screen, but getting really tired of it. Anyone else have this issue? I have a video of it on my channel.. any ideas would be appreciated 🙏🏼

Dang. That's no bueno for sure. I wouldn't have a clue as to fixing the issue unless you take it to some computer repair and see if they got the correct parts for it or replacing it with the newer radio with the physical buttons.
