JBL Bar 2.1 300W, Superb Bass, With Detailed Sound Demo

I’m having trouble picking up a sound bar for my room. It’s a small room and previously have been using Fenda T388 which was great but had to give it to someone. Now all stocks are finished in the market for Fenda. Please suggest me which sound bar I should get for the room for a 55 inch LED and the sound bar shouldn’t cost above 50k Pakistani rupees. Hi Tarkan, the LG LAS454B is given as 'discontinued' in their website. So JBL would be good. But if you can put some more money, JBL bar 2.1 300W would be a better choice as the sound quality is very good and also there are more input and output controls. Thanks for watching.

If you are looking for a surround sound experience, you can go for Sony. If you are Ok with 2.1 experience my first preference would be JBL Bar 2.1 and then Samsung. As JBL are specialist in movie sound, the performance would be better. But you might also check the price and then decide. Thanks for watching this video. I understand that Sony S700RF is a 5.1 soundbar where as JBL is 2.1. Sony will be better if you want a 1000w true surround experience. If you are ok with a simple set up, then JBL will be fine. Thanks for watching.

Sony IV300 seems to be a very old model. If you are looking for a 5.1 system, then you can search for any latest models. If you are ok with a 2.1 soundbar then JBL will be my choice. Thanks for watching.

Hi, I notice that the JBL Partybox 100 is a portable party speaker with 160W. If your main need is to listen to music, then Partybox might be better as it is easy to carry. But, if you also want to enjoy movies with a theatre-like feel, then soundbar 2.1 is the best. As you love deep bass, you can also check JBL 2.1 Deepbass model. Thanks for watching.

I think the correct size of the subwoofer is 6.5" only. Flipkart price is too much. Amazon price seems to be ok. But I would recommend checking at a retail store for their price. I bought it from the Reliance Digital showroom.

Now it is available for 26k to 28k, Flipkart & Amazon it is for 26k.Before 2nd Lock down in Jan/Feb 2021 it was available for 21.5/22 k at Vijay Sales, Croma, Reliance Digital & Kohinoor in Mumbai. I gave the offer of 20k to all of them but they all refused to come down below 21.5/22k. Now the price has Increased. In terms of sound quality, Clarity & bass it is very good. I compared all Sony Soundbars & 5.1 HT under 30k with this JBL it beats hands down all of them. I even checked latest Sony HT S40R which is a 5.1 channel system which is for 28,990 but it fails in front of JBL.

Sony S20R seems to be a real 400W 5.1 channel home theatre with a wired subwoofer and rear speakers. JBL has a wireless subwoofer and the soundbar. So if you are looking for a 5.1 channel system, then you can go for Sony, else JBL would be good. I am completely happy with my JBL 2.1 300W system. I am using Creative 2.1 which produces superb sound for music. Other players in the market are Zerbronics, F&D, Philips, Infinity, iBall etc. Again the choice is tough. @@PraveenPravin3 Hi Praveen, as a user I can suggest JBL as they are pioneers in cinema sound. But I do not have any other technical information other than from a normal user point of view. JBL is having a cute subwoofer that is down-firing and takes less space. This was one of my considerations. If you are a bass freak, then JBL deep bass model is good. I was lucky to get a demo of both JBL 2.1 and Sony 2.1 soundbars. JBL had more input and output than Sony, so went for JBL. If you buy Sony or JBL, it will be worth it, no doubt.

In my model JBL Bar 2.1 the max volume level is 48. For me, a level of 16 - 17 is very good for my medium-sized room. So, I think MK2 model mein bhi to koi issues nahi hoga. Thanks for watching.

Hi Vinoth, if you want to enjoy movies in 5.1 surround, then go for Sony. But if you want a simple installation and ok with 2.1 then JBL is fine. I think the Sony system needs 4 separate power sources, while JBL needs 2. If you really want a surround experience then Sony is good. But remember 600W will be very high for a normal to a small room. Thanks for watching.

@@ajaythakwani6067 I do not listen to music with this sound bar, it is used mostly for movies, documentaries and KZbin video songs. For music, I use my Creative 2.1 computer speaker. The soundbar cannot be good for all genres of music. Certain songs would be nice with our old FM radio. I have not seen SB190, so not sure about it. But from the specs, it seems to be good and has Dolby Atmos (Virtual). Due to copyright issues, I am unable to show movie songs etc, for demo purposes. Thank you for watching.
