Obviously the JBL Charge 3 is better than the JBL Flip 3, that is because the JBL Charge 3's 2 speakers deliver 10 watts each while the JBL Flip 3's 2 speakers deliver 8 watts each. Either way the both speakers are really good.

i think the flip will be better suited as a second speaker with the xtreme, but if you want the best option for multi speaker arrangement, think about getting 2 flip 3's .. this way you can get a really cool setup , xtreme in the middle and 2 flips as left and right.... i tried that .. it sounds awsome and not like a wired setup , you can move them any way you want to get a really wide and spacious dispersion .

JBL Charge 3 definitely sounds the best ... especially at 60% levels. Flip 3 flattens out in comparision. But the pricing and the portability factor.is the advantage for the Flip 3. Wondering whats the name of the first track? Really catchy!

Lol when i play songs on my charge 3 with my phone (Samsung galaxy j5) at 100% volume, it's not as loud as if i use my ipad... Any wonders why ?

+Illegal meme Sound output is quite different on various devices. For official specs of audio output you should dig deeper into specs sheets. But in general , the iPad (and it depends on what model you own) probably has better and louder output capabilities then the j5 , which is a mid range phone.. And like I always say , you should not make your speaker "sweat" so much in 100% vol , where usually (from my tests) the sound gets worse due to serious dsp compression . If you feel you are not getting enough from your speaker , you should think about getting a larger speaker , because in portable speakers , size .... does matter .

check out one of the videos out on you tube , especially clavinetjunkie - the ue boom 2 and also the megaboom which i tested .... flat out sucks ! compared to jbl family it is really inferior. get the flip 3 ot better yet the flip 4!
