I think that the boombox 3 is better for a garden party, but it depends on how much money u wanna spend

The charge 5 has more treble but i Think xtreme 2 is some louder than the ch5. I sugest you to buy xtreme 2 Edit: the battery in xtreme 2 is much better than charge 5
