You should probably just use the EXTREME 3 for indoor use while it’s plugged in getting full power & place it near a wall. I own the EXTREME 3 as well & this is the only way that I use it. I just don’t care for the output in battery mode. If you’re deciding whether or not to get the EXTREME 4, it all depends on how you plan on using it. If you want a speaker for mainly outdoors, you might want to consider the Boom2. I’ve watched multiple comparison videos between the EXTREME 4 & Boom2. The 4 has more overall clarity, but the Boom2 overall has a fuller sound with deeper bass. It’s also a lot cheaper retailing at $129.99. I own the Boom2 as well. I guess it all depends on what you want or prefer & how much money you’re willing to spend.😊

X4 has deeper bass, Since below 45hz the Boom 2 Boost Upper grequencies on a sine wave, It does have more bass tough

I just got the charge 5 for £129 and I love this speaker .it depends on what you want to pay. If you want to spend less than 200 like I did this is the best speaker for your money 👍🇬🇧

Xtreme 3 for stereo. Then save up for a boombox 3 and you’ll have a great combination of speakers. The xtremes are fine in stereo but a boombox 3 with an xtreme 3 is a lot better than 2 xtremes. Pricing is about the same now.
